"First time I've ever been here, but remarkably impressed with the decor, we were shown to our table that we booked, staff were very friendly and helpful, we ordered our food, everything going well so far, until a party of to were put...on the tables next to us which usually wouldn't be a problem but they had a child which was about a year old and was totally out of control screaming and shouting throwing beer mats and cutlery on the floor, the parents and grandparents didn't seem to care upsetting most people in the dining room, so I explained the problem to the waitress and she said I agree and found us another table in the bar area which I was so impressed as the pub was full, I must say the staff were more than excellent, we were sat down at another table both of us had cheese and onion pie which is the best I've ever eaten, fantastic place fantastic food, when I go there again I would ask for a table in the bar area and not the restaurant area which is very noisy with young children, I would definitely recommend and will be back very soon, the staff are brilliant and keep up the good work it's appreciated."
