Das Essen war sehr gut, jedoch der Service (Chef) war sehr unverschämt, er hat uns die Gläser wortlos von Tisch gerissen, beim Gehen gab es keine Verabschiedung, wir würden absichtlich ignoriert, obwohl wir reichlich konsumiert hatten.

Tolles Ambiente aber noch besseres Essen. Ich war schon sehr viel in Afrika unterwegs, und wenn in Deutschland jemand die Afrikanische Küche anbietet ist man eher skeptisch, vor allem wenn der Wirt ein Deutscher ist. Ich wurde aber sehr sehr positiv überrascht und muss sagen dass ich auf jeden fall wieder kommen werde.

Asmara is an restaurant with Ethiopian and Eritrean food. I went there for lunch, neglected the buffet and ordered from the menu. An appetizer called ful which is a beans dish was served with a piece of wheat flatbread which was definitely not freshly-made. It tasted like several days old. The main dish was with beef and spinach served on and with injeera bread. This was okay, although it did not have the spicyness as promised on the menu. All in all: a reasonably good place, but for this cuisine I have visited much better restaurants, both in Germany and Los Angeles. Visualizza piatti
