BBQ was amazing.The restaurant and the service were all excellent apart from the Backlava wasn’t good enough it’s too sweet and on the list written with pistachios but it’s walnut. That’s why I’m giving only 4*

absolutely amazing, I never had such good Turkish food outside the turkey. the first bite of the grill brought me directly to my favorite restaurant in akbük with a view of the Aegean. would come back. the server was very patient with our big group. 10/10

Their food was quite ok,But their service was worse when me with My friends visited recently. We ordered Chicken Shish kabab with mugh dal lentils) which was cold) the name of dish is SPICY CHICKEN ADANA KEBAB). They served us quickly as we didn’t expect. The food was delicious and portion sizes were good. The service was great as always. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food comes out in good time and you can taste the freshness and flavours. I would highly recommend visiting this place. We were given a bowl of water and lemon to rinse our hands.

I was originally from croydon, but moved to miami a few months ago. I visited atesh a few times, in which regular with a large group of people, and they were always impressed and came back with their own family / friends. I will come to atesh and order the mixed meat plate with the Bulgarian weeping as soon as I come back!

We went for date night and had a lovely time. The food was delicious (we ordered from the chef's specials). Big portions for both main and sides. Well cooked and presented. Staff were friendly and pleasant, they were well timed (came over to get empties but didn't rush us). We should have booked for a Saturday night but wasn't a problem in getting us a table. beautiful Turkish restaurant in the southern end of croydon, friendly staff, good eating, but they need to extend their drinks menu for those who do not take alcohol. all they offer is fizzy drinks, water and a cold savory yogurt based drink called aryan, which is an acquired taste!. Beautiful music plays in the background as you enjoy their meal in a comfortable it area with very interesting all decor.

Disgusting customer service. Both my partner and I found broken glass in our drinks. When we told the staff about this, they did not apologize and instead seemed to be suggesting that we had put the broken glass inside our own drinks. They thought it was suspicious we found broken glass in our drinks towards the end of our meal. They were adamant the glass had not come from them, with a smirk on their face explained it was impossible . As compensation we got the cost of the drinks off our bill £2.60 for lemonade and £0.0 tap water saving us the grand total of £2.60).
