Six of us had a variety of choices from the three-course menu and all talk ceased after the first fork full. A beautiful setting along a small stream that must be even a greater experience when warm weather permits outdoor seating.

Beware, this place has changed chef and the food is now very disappointing to say the least. I had a horrible meal. Dry, badly prepared, not even a little sauce to make it edible. My inquiries revealed that the Michelin rated chef is no longer...there. The replacement team is certainly not up to Michelin standard.

we chose a rührei with truffle, 30 euro as starter. it was tiny, not particularly well tasted and with only 3 slices of truffle up. the wine, the 11 euro in the shop, was sold with 35 euro doped. the main course. the “Koch vegetarian risotto” (the only vegetarian meal on the menu,) was a sumpf standard risotto with some vegetables on the top. beautiful location, friendly waitress, but a torn

spot is very sweet of the small river, terrace looked cozy and guide michelin reference comforted us to choose this place to dinner. how disappointing was the service rushed and almost rude. eating was ok, but not delicious and I must say that the look of...the teller were not up to guide michelin standards. it looked very poor and cheap. the bad service about it made the whole experience unpleasant. we do not come back and will not recommend this place.

The restaurant, location, dining room, and gardens are very attractive. We are staying in les Eyzies for a week, and visited the restaurant last night, our first night here. My wife who has Coeliac disease and cannot tolerate gluten ordered the strawberry zabaglione desert, having...told the waiter she couldn’t tolerate wheat. What was served was strawberries in creme patissiere a thick flour custard. Not only was this not suitable for a coeliac, it didn’t taste good either, with the strong custard flavour drowning out the strawberries (I had it too! . On pointing this out to the unsympathetic owner, he just gave a Gallic shrug. We won’t be going back !.

as we were in the adjoining hotel, we enjoyed our meal twice and enjoyed both the two paintings, especially the second time when it was warm enough to sit outside at the stream. the 2-course menu is a very good value and was perfect for us. I had the laughs both paint as it was delicious. the first time I had dessert the snowball that was good, but not really after my taste. the ice was excellent and a better choice. service was excellent, even the 2nd night when they were much more busy. the waiter remembered us and made food special. the half bottles of wine on the menu were both very good and was the amount of wine we prefer. it is a wonderful environment and a pleasant evening meal.

We were really looking forward to eating here, as I read the reviews and it looked like a good place. We were quite disappointed with the meal, unfortunately. I had the confit de canard, which is one of the easiest things to make, just put...the damn thing in the oven and crisp up the skin. But the skin wasn't crisp, but very soft and soggy. Not good. I have to say the Sarlat potatoes were quite good, however. My wife had a magret of duck that was way overcooked, not the lovely pink or even red that it should be. But to top the meal off, we had an amazingly good Grand Marnier souffle, which saved the meal from catastrophe. The wine list is pretty good, although it would be nice if they had a...

I wrote such a good review for this restaurant last year and it truly was one of my favourite places to go. We had dinner at the restaurant when it opened after the Winter not realising that the ownership and Chef had changed. I don't...think the food was bad as some other reviews are saying in fact I enjoyed my tartare of salmon or was it trout? a lot and would go back to the restaurant just for that! Adn the beef dish I had was ok although the piece of beef a bit scrappy and they forgot the sauce but did bring it when I pointed it out, and my partners duck was ok but nothing special and our desserts fine. Having been to this restaurant many times over the last 15 years and always enjoyed first rate meals with really good service, would've said this was one of the best restaurants in the region. Forget all the previous good reviews that you see, this place...now is absolutely awful. The service is appalling. We waited one hour for our starter. The plates from the tasting dish were never removed ! The owner scowled at the waiters to remove the plates as he was holding our starters. The soup was definitely out of a can.. Waited five minutes longer after multiple signals to get a spoon for the soup !. The eggs with truffles for €27 were a joke. The mushrooms for €25 were truly disgusting. They we...
