the reception is very friendly; We are at once comfortable as at home.Very good pizzas ( huge!!!). the service was quick because we were pressed so the bosses adapt and they are very pleasant. Hostel to be recommended.

We went to the passenger hostel on a Thursday noon where we ordered their speciality "holepinette" and it was a delight. Then one of us took a very good pizza and the other took a quick formula with an entrance, a dish, cheese, a dessert, a coffee and wine. In the entrance I had a flan to the zucchini and a chicken scalope, mushroom and sour, then two pieces of cheese and then big homemade chocolate cakes, all accompanied by a quarter of bottle of white wine and a coffee all for 11€90. We have visited this place many times over the last eight years or so and have never been disappointed.Lunchtimes, you can partake of the workers' lunch, always good value. It is always a good sign when the restaurant is used by the locals as well as visitors.Our last visit, a few days ago enabled us to have a leisurely meal before our journey home the following day. My wife had the fish and I had the steak, thoroughly enjoyable. The pizzas seem popular. Although we have never had one there always seem to be a stream of people collecting a takeaway. Pascale, the chef always makes a point of coming out of the kitchen to talk to the clients. A nice touch.

We've stayed in the area every year since 2003 and came across the owners Charlotte and Pascal when they use to run the restaurant at the local golf club.When they opened the Auberge, it was a hit from day one.We visit the restaurant on a number of occasions each year and have never walked out disappointed.There isn't a stupidly long menu, which will cause confusion or make you wonder how fresh the dishes will be. It's selective, but varied with a great selection of choice...escargot and entrecôte steak is always a favourite of mine.We have a 3 and 2 year old, so for the past few years had to brace the battle of having a nice meal with potential tantrums and having to leave the restaurant to...
