Schnitzel was average, roast pork was juicy and flavourful, Klöße were perfect. Simple satisfying filling food.

Unfortunately, at our last visit (22.06.12) have to experience that the otherwise so good Augustian pan has been very bad...the meat was not edible, actually suitable for the ton! Shame...

Wir waren da, weil wir Hunger hatten und kein einziges Restaurant in Eisenach gefunden, dass nach 14:00 Uhr geöffnet hatte. Es waren keine Gäste dort und wir wurden sofort bedient. Die Dame war humorvoll und nett. das Essen war gut, frisch zubereitet, Hausmannkost einfach.

Der Gastraum hat uns an eine typische Brauerei-Wirtschaft in Bamberg erinnert. Der Hirschgulasch war zum "Niederknien". Einfach genial und dann noch die moderaten Preise. Ich habe eine Seniorenportion erhalten, die ich komplett verputzt habe, weil es so lecker war. Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir haben das leckere biet genossen. We were eating here on recommendation yesterday. The service was too close to very friendly, which suddenly changed with the complaint. We complained about the children's carving and a hunter's carving. The meat was inedible, under the panade it was clearly red, which says it was pre-panned a few days ago. The dish again prepared was also unfit for the same quality, i.e. the meat. The cook showed in the conversation what is not to be claimed from the operation. She put the complainted food on the bill on the ground that she was contact for complaints and not the kitchen.
