Ayothaya - Menu

Almost 100 different meals for only 7 tables... Poor quantity and very high prices. Good but wasn't worth 70 euro for 2.

My nephew and I had a great window seat as we received excellent service and wonderful food! Everything was fresh and tasty.

Many asian/thaï expats in this little restaurant which was almost full on a Tuesday evening shows that the food is good, just like back home.We appreciated the variety of dishes and the excellent service. There are a number of Thai restaurants in Paris, some fancier than others. This one is in the goldilocks zone !

Our wish list this time is Pad Thai which has never been disappointed. We ordered variety dishes to cover 5 adults and a girl. Boat noodles are even better than some place in Bangkok. We ordered two for 5 persons. Somtam and sashimi shrimps in spicy fish sauce are very tasty Thai authentic. As a lot of food in average of 30€, I think it is acceptable.

We had beef with onions @ 13.5 Euro, sautéed shrimp @ 17.5, fried rice @ 9.5 and 2 cocktails @ 8.7. The total bill was 49.20 Euro without a tip. Everything was tender and tasted great. The menu is posted in the window with an item #, picture, ingredients and cost. We used the Google Translate app on our cell phone to help convert the menu to English. Most of the guests were locals who seemed to love the Thai cuisine.

The food is great the place is super simple, I've been there 3 times and each time found the dishes super tasty. Considering the atmosphere the prices might seem a little high but you will go away with a smile. I've had several of the fish dishes, some steamed, the seafood soup with coconut milk is delicious and they have a special coconut ball desert that if it is available you should try. THey make it there so it disappears as fast as they make it.

This place is a little gem! My brother and I were in the mood for Thai food, so we looked up a few restaurants. Ayothaya came up in our search results, and we decided to try it. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, we found it. We could not be happier with our dinner there! It's a small place, not too fancy, cozy, and the food is exquisite. The service was excellent, too - responsive, but not overbearing. I love Thai food and eat it often both in the States and in France; this is some of the best I've had. I only wish it were back home. I'll be sure to come the next time I'm in Paris. Yes, it's that good.

I would recommend this restaurant if they had an English menu and if service was good. It was really hard trying to translate the menu using Google translate. The restaurant has a lot of choices on the menu but of course, you can't just sit there the whole time and translate everything. It would've also been easier if the servers could speak English, but they don't. The guy server that we had just pointed to a table when we got in, didn't say anything at all, then he wasn't even looking every time you call him. It's like he ignores you! What a shame. If you call his attention that you want something he just says "ok" but never does anything you ask him to. I found him rude. There was another...

There was zero customer service in this restaurant. I ate here with my SO and when we entered we were greeted with the server/woman who worked there just pointing to a table for us to sit down. We asked for water when we ordered which never arrived and were ignored the entire time we were there. When food was brought to our table it was dropped off and left. The entirety of our stay the server never looked us, said hello, or smiled. It took forever for us to get our bill as the server. To be fair, it seemed like all other customers weren't receiving this service so I don't feel as if we were being targeted for any specific reason.
