"We were there yesterday on a Saturday because our planned restaurant ran out of space and I'm absolutely happy we ended up here. I'm from out of town, we just ate. In my opinion, the restaurant is really quaint and has a certain feel-good atmosphere. The service was very friendly and quick. We didn't have to wait long. You might think it's a bit expensive, but when you're served the food you'll be proven wrong. It was absolutely great, the salad at the beginning was lush and extremely tasty. A little bit of everything, exactly my taste. The roulade was a dream, the spaetzle, the sauce, everything was great. You can taste everything fresh and homemade with love here. The portions are definitely worth the money. The rest of my group was also more than satisfied and no one had the slightest complaint. I have rarely eaten so well and can really recommend this restaurant. You can hardly do it better. Great value for money... I give it 10 out of 10 points"

We aten entrecote met Cafe de Paris saus en een zomerse salade. Deze saus is een klassieker in de Franse keuken en vind je zelden op de kaart. De entrecote was de beste sinds jaren!

Really delicious food!! I have never eaten as good anywhere in the past 4 days in the Black Forest. Take the schintzel with sheep's cheese, really delicious. Furthermore, nice terrace and great service!

Wir hatten heute Abend ein tolles Essen und einen großartigen Service! Das Schwarzwälder Schnitzel war einfach der Hit! Gefüllt mit Schwarzwälder Schinken, Käse und Zwiebeln. Sehr große Portionen und der Beilagensalat ist größer als in manchen Restaurants die „große“ Salatplatte. Die Spätzle zu meinem Filet waren selbstgemacht ebenso die Rahmsoße . Wir können jedem nur empfehlen das Restaurant Bären in Freudenstadt zu besuchen.

The restaurant is one of my favorites for German cuisine in the Freudenstadt district, because it always tastes delicious because the food is freshly cooked! The side salad alone is a stunner and you can look forward to more. When it comes to the main courses, I don't even know where to start, venison goulash, roulade, schnitzel, and much more simply delicious and large portions. The price performance and taste ratio is unbeatable but see for yourself ; PS: it looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside, but that's deceptive!
