"An unpleasant experience. We rather foolishely splurged on a sumptuous dinner, food was not good, and we had to beg for a glass of tap water, which we were eventually denied. On top of it all we had to wait for more than half an hour for one of the desserts. In our despair we asked for the bill, which occasioned an agressive response from the waitress, who pressured us to take the dish (which was not yet served) because it is our responsibility. She went as far as arguing that the menu states that one has to wait 15 minutes for the dessert. We asked her to show us where is that written in the menu, sadly it was not there). We had to invest an unexusable amount of time to get this dessert off our bill. Would not recommend this place to anyone I know"

Friendly service, low prices and fantastic, fresh food. What's not to like? : Also very good for vegetarians. There are only a couple of veggie main courses on the menu, but lots of veggie starters that are main course sized, or you can combine a couple of them. One of the best Turkish restaurants I've experienced in Berlin.

One of my favorites in my neighborhood. Really fresh food and ingredients and solid portions. Service is friendly (could be a bit quicker at times) and makes you feel at home. Most of the time there is a bit of live music in a language I couldn't identify. However, the music gives it a bit of a special touch and own vibe. Go and try it out!

We came in at 5:30 (baby and oldpeople time, because we have/are both) and the place was empty, which was fine. The owner/chef and waitstaff were kind and attentive, and I would say professional, which might feel abrupt to some. We thought it was fine. They were sweet with our four year old, which is always a plus. The food was excellent, no doubt about it. The prices may appear a tiny bit inflated, but they are not: the food was great and prices were totally appropriate. We had a lamb skewer, the mixed grilled veg, the lentil soup all were fresh, carefully prepared, and well seasoned, i.e. flavorful, maybe a little salty...but honestly just some of the best Turkish food I 've had in Berlin....
