"To get to Jedermann from the center of Leipzig you take tram 7 in direction Böhlitz-Ehrenberg and get off at stop Wielandsstrasse, walk back about 100 meters and you will find the restaurant in Georg-Schwartz-Strasse 28 on the corner with Uhlandstrasse.Jedermann is furnished with old tables and chairs but seemed to be popular with the locals of all ages. Only one table was free when we got there at a quarter to eight in the evening. Today’s special offers were written on the board. The menu was all in German but was translated to English in one notebook that followed the exact order of the German menu.The two of us decided to try traditional Saxon food and ordered beef stew with red cabbage and semmelknödeln (made of bread). To go with that we opted for German beer. As a dessert we had a good serving each of cheese cake. The food was very well prepared and the price value really high as the total bill came to about 25 euros.Jedermann provides free w-lan, daily paper and some magazines. I urge you to try Jedermann for its tasty and well prepared food and for the prompt and friendly service."

"it seems that you enter a living room when you open the door, the atmosphere and the voluntary are beautiful. the possible pizzeria teig and topping combinations are endless and they also offer mock meat products from soy or since. I usually don't order vegan cheeze on pizza, but I really liked their homemade version! they also offer a large selection of glittering lemonades/mother etc. and beer. we really enjoyed our time and our meal there."

"in the morning you should plan a few minutes at the parking lot search. the steep slippery steps made us a bit skeptical three-view, stabwort barrierfrei. but apparently this has never been a bigger problem (four man, four corners or where a will is, is a way).One comes in and receives one as first a pleasant light and a massive woodable. the ambiente knows to please immediately, warm, rustical though for my taste something to clink. Unfortunately, it has always been a bit cool at the table so that the pullover always remained.The Italian waitress made an intrusive attentive impression and you would like to see her when hosting the other tables. Overall, the restaurant is somewhat overpriced, but what is made by small gestures like a disc cricket as a starter on the house or the bonbon is re-established in the billy branch. because eating is very good. clearly defined taste without snorkel. I had both a very good and lush pizza (40 cm), but it was difficult to eat through the shaky wooden turntable with knife and fork.My accompaniment had a stone mushroom paste, even here full score despite a little bit of cream. We'll be back in any case, but then in a nice warm summer."

"Take trams 7, 8 or 15 from city center and get off at Angerbrücke for a 290 meter walk to Restaurant Olea or go on and pass Olea on left hand side and get off at Lindenauer Markt and walk back 240 m.I was on my way from the hotel to the city center in tram 7 when I saw the inviting candle light from restaurant Olea. I got curious so I got off at the next stop (Angerbrücke) and walked back. Quite a few people had chosen to dine at Olea and, that usually being a good sign, made me come in. Straight away a young woman got me the menu.The menu is quite extensive containing omelettes, salads, risotto, oven baked dishes, pasta, chicken, fish and rump steaks. I ordered pasta and couldn’t withstand to look at the dessert menu and found Schwedenbecher (Sweden cup) with ice cream, applesauce, whipped cream and eggnog if I recall correctly. Being Swedish and never heard of it I just had to try. The bill came to 19 EUR including a glass of wine, which I find very reasonable for a very good meal and friendly service with a smile.I just (9 Oct 2016) looked up their weekly menu and all items but one, roast veal, were priced under 10 EUR. If I were living in the area I’m sure I’d come here regularly. Do try restaurant Olea!"

Pho Ha Noi Chay in Leipzig, which is spicy and has fresh vegetables on the top! The broth is also good. The Tofu Curry is creamy and tasty. Steam Ramen has some really good and good sauces. Bun Chay Nam Bo is super full of taste! It comes with a lot of sauce that is a kind of spicy Teriyaki salt sauce. It's really good, though the sincere pieces were a bit chew for me. Golden Garden is interesting and the herbs have a strong taste. Many vegan options and they are very delicious. The peanut sauce in Seitan Sate has Gingwer and it is a very nice surprise. The Wantan soup is great, it really tastes like Wantan soup! Finally, Pho Ha Noi Chay is sharp in Leipzig and has fresh vegetables! The broth is also good. The Tofu Curry is creamy and tasty. Steam Ramen has some really interesting and good sauces. Bun Chay Nam Bo is super full of taste! "The place is, in my opinion, kind of awesome, I do really like it ! And I have to say that the day that we (me and my girlfriend) visit this restaurant, we also did like the other customers ! (indeed) There was such a good atmosphere ( a sunny sunday of july, at noon) Even if one of our host did not smile even one time (but still taking care of us).The choice of meal was interesting, my girfriend took the advised hamburger, which was thanks to her : amazing ! For me it was soja sausage with curry sauce. Drinks were interesing (in bottles), can't remember the name of if. The dessert was interesting also, (Millefeuille with rubarb) but not enough sweet for me, as a dessert. I did choose a hot chocolate to finish my meal : average. No, I have not been seduced. It was interesting (thrid time I do use this word) and I did like it but... no wow effect at all (except for the well decorated place) It was my first Vegan restaurant (well, Vegetarian with Vegan option), I was more seduced by the second one, and even more by the third one ! (let's hope it will continue this way !) I do mean that I can more and more do comparisons. We have even planned to visit a couple of Vegan Restaurants in the next weeks ! Last thing : about the price : 2 drinks, 2 main dishes, 1 dessert for two, 2 hot beverages = about 45 €. 22,50 each : affordable !I do remember the days that we were visiting conventionnal restaurants, and we were condisering that under 50 € it was cheap... (for 2), and it was rather rare to pay this kind of prices. Now, we are eating vegan, we are careful about what we eat, and especially about the proportions (for us it's often a cake for 2 now), the prices of our 3 first Vegetarian and/or Vegan restaurants were : 45€, 35€ and 22€ ! Isn't it nice ? :) That's why we'll can go twice more times to the restaurants ! :P"

"Geleitet von den positiven Kritiken der bisherigen Gäste kamen wir in ein Kellerrestaurant. Wir durchschritten die Raucherinsel und bekammen einen ersten Eindruck.Schwer verständlich nahm das Personal unsere Wünsche entgegen, leider ließ es kaum Abweichungen zur Karte zu. So schenkt man ein Ur-Krostitzer Schwarzbier nicht in kleineren Einheiten als 0,5 und dann im Krombacher Hefe-Weizen-Glas aus. Kleiner geht nicht, weil es aus der Flasche kommt.In Sachen Beilagen mußte ich das nehmen, was nach Meinung des Personals geht. Also statt Reis und Gemüse zum Grilllachs, dann eben Spaghetti mit Knoblauchbutter. Aber geschmacklich war es gut, bis auf den Chilli an den Nudeln.Da wir an einem runden Tisch saßen, war es dem Personal nicht möglich, die Gäste von rechts oder links zu bedienen. Reichen Sie bitte durch! Glück war hier, dass der achte Platz frei war, da wir nur sieben Personen waren, sonst wäre es noch enger geworden. Da ich eingeladen war, habe ich es so genommen, Ich geh lieber zum Italiener."

"This is a very nice and clean restaurant with beautiful flower arrangements and you feel a sense of peace when being there, even though the kitchen is buzzing. The food is over-all very nice with fresh and tasty produces and on top of that, it is cheap for what you get. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the food came out in good time. There were a couple of things not being that perfect.In the vegetable tempura was deep-fried sweet potatoes, but it also contained schrimps! This is not OK, when you write it is vegetable tempura. I am just glad I don´t have seafood allergy.I ordered the beef dish, but it was nothing like the menu said. Instead of a balsamic sauce I got some mayonnaise sauce wich was not nice together with rice and did not fit the dish at all. There were also all sorts of things on the plate not going well together at all. Fresh tomatoes, very strong radish sprouts, pinapple, pak choi and this weird mayonnaise sauce.Despite these hiccups we enjoyed the experience very much and will definately come back very soon again. We even got a fish bowl to-go and brought home for our son. Even that was very nicely presented and my son loved it."

"Food tasted very good, service was friendly! Unfortunately, we had to wait for a good hour, clearly too long, even after dinner we were not really served further!!! No one came for an hour and asked us if we want to pay or something else! The service did not work in a guest-oriented manner, prices were not appropriate to the service! But delicious food is there!! Who does not go hungry and has time to wait gets there tidy portions at a naja still so reasonable price if you are only limited to quality and portion size!"

"Wie waren heute in diesem Restaurant und ich bin nicht begeistert. Freundliches Personal-ja aber sehr aufdringlich. Auf die Bitte hin meine Speise gern mit Gorgonzolasoße statt mit Metaxasoße, bekam ich von der Kellnerin die Antwort, dass das nicht ginge, weil sich die Soße schlecht dazu macht, aber ich hätte ja keine Ahnung davon! Ich denke nicht das man SO mit Gästen reden sollte, zumal ich selbst aus der Gastronomie bin! Lange Wartezeiten und dann war das Fleisch auch nicht frisch. Der Geschmack ähnelte einem aufgetautem Schnitzel. Aber man hat sich wenigstens entschuldigt und zugegeben das man vergessen hat sich das Dessert zu merken, welches beinahe vergessen wurde. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, hier muss definitiv am Service gearbeitet werden und der Koch sollte vorher die frische seiner Waren prüfen."

"In principle, this restaurant is capable of much more authentic cuisine than it serves. Its variety of dishes attests to its knowledge of cuisines beyond the Chinese, and surely it can't be difficult to be more precise with respect to the specific tastes of these...cuisines. But even the best dishes are just a little above average: their chicken in coconut sauce is deluged in a mix of readymix spice and sauce, which though it isn't bad, lacks all piquance. Their pho is large and somewhat tasteless. And most of their other dishes taste more of hastily added boiled vegetables at the end than the original flavours. The service is sometimes a bit too relaxed, and one can wait for a long time to get a menu or a bill. Not a restaurant that is worth going to unless one is in that particular area of town where the choice of lunch places isn't enormous."

"Absolutely the best Meat in Leipzig. What a wonderful experience, from the back in time in a train carriage feeling you get as you walk in, to the wonderfully friendly and helpful waitrons to the sublime steak cooked to perfection with tasty side orders. The prices are on the high side but in the end you get what you pay for which is a wonderful culinary delight and a must return to steakhouse! Great for work dinners especially with foreign guests!"

"War seit Jahren mal wieder hier. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Katastrophaler Service. Nach 35 Minuten auf der Bowlingbahn, mussten wir zur Bar gehen und fragen wann wir bestellen können. Weitere 10 Minuten später kam dann jemand. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten kamen die Getränke. Beim Essen das Gleiche. 3 Kellner liefen am Tisch vorbei ohne 1x zu fragen was wir möchten. Nach 25 Minuten kam dann endlich mal jemand um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Die Damen und Herren vom Nebentisch hatten es inzwischen satt und sind gegangen. Nach weiteren 30 Minuten kam endlich unser Essen. Die Gläser waren lange leer aber das interessierte keinen. 2 von 4 bestellten Getränken haben es leider gar nicht an unseren Tisch geschafft. Als wir Bescheid gegeben haben, dass wir zahlen möchten und nach 15 Minuten immer noch keiner da war, dem wir unser Geld geben konnten, sind wir direkt zur Bar gegangen und auch dort dauerte es wieder sehr lange weil es wohl technische Probleme gab. Also auf so einen Service können wir gern verzichten und werden auch nicht wiederkommen. Schade, dass es nicht mehr wie früher ist."
