Good value for money food always good and great portions service sometimes bit slow if they are busy but worth a visit

had a great Christmas dinner there the staff was great, the service was from this world eating was excellent would recommend it

The food at the restaurant was delicious, but the waitstaff took too long to take our order and serve our food. We had children with us who became restless waiting to eat.

Fantastic meal! Helpful and talkative. Check we enjoyed our meal on numerous occasions. Portions was good. Beer battered haddock was tasty, steak was also tasty and beef brisket was amazing also.All three of us enjoyed!

last week had a nice dinner here if on vacation in the opposite. we would have been to lunch and thought we would try the new menu for dinner. excellent choices and also a good child menu. portions were very well dimensioned. really great price at £10 for 2 courses and this is also in the evening. desserts were also beautiful. service was also very good. I couldn't make it wrong and would be back soon. beancross for a nice evening.

Terrible service.After putting our order in we were still waiting an hour later only to be told our order had been wiped off the system.Waited another half hour for the meals to be served.Only stayed because we had our grandchildren with us or I would have just walked out.Got 25% knocked off our bill for the inconvenience but won't be back anytime soon.Also,they don't do the special offers now(3 course for £12)so it works out quite expensive.

we regularly visit the beancross for a family dinner. always a more pleasant occasion. we have married there in 2012 and have experienced a qualitatiw high quality service from the beginning to the end. once again this evening a fabulous meal and attentive waiting staff. the price is incredibly good. my diverse nutritional requirements can be difficult, but our waiter for the night was very switched on and ensured that I did not leave. highly recommended.
