"We were recently on vacation at Todtnau. We have already been refreshed by this great Italian. And he's really great! In the end we were 4 times there from 7 days on holiday! Opposite the restaurant, a tree-lined avenue leads to the Todtnauer church, which looks down on a hill towards the busy highway. In front of the restaurant there are beautiful places on a fountain overlooking the Baumgasse and the church. Inside, the Hotel Restaurant/Pizzeria is beautifully decorated, with a lot of style and taste. Rooms are equipped with dark solid wood. The walls are walled and provided with subtle lights and black white pictures. On the right side of the restaurant are the particularly sought-after seats overlooking a walled oven where you can observe its pizza during its creation. Behind the counter is a mega espresso machine made of felt gold, which makes so delicious espresso or espresso Macchiato as we previously only drank in Italy. The controls are nice and a little set up, even if the shop is full. Where we come to my recommendation: to book in advance, otherwise you will not get a seat. Free parking is available on the side street, where you can also get a place at night when the restaurant is full. The food is also great. And that is not excessively formulated. The menu is big and for every taste is what. We have eaten during our visits: Gnocchi with Parma ham in Gorgonzola sauce, Tri Pasti, Carving Milanese, Crab Pizza, Pizza with rocket, Parma ham and Parmesan, baked Torteloni with minced meat and mushrooms, fitness salad and Tagliatelle with a spinach cream sauce. Everything very tasty and dressed with love. We sat every time, especially because we couldn't give up a side dish salad, which was simply great again with a delicious Frenchdressing, leaf salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, rocola and carrots: . In the afternoon we also enjoyed a tiramisu, latte Macchiato and an ice chocolate. So it's worth a visit. The price is still affordable, we are at 2nd with appetizer and espresso afterwards; so at 35 €, this is for quality, in my opinion. For us was the only thing that Bella Italia is so far from home; , we would have such an Italian with us, we would probably be a guest at least once a week. Great recommendation, especially for holidaymakers in the Todtnau Air Bath in the Black Forest."

"The resturante is very cozy and partly modern, the first impression was very clean. We've been sitting at 6 on a table that I think was for 4 people. "Ehrliche Küche, ehrliche Preise, kein Schicki-Micky, keine Experimente. Kein Modebier, an der Bar die üblichen Spirituosen. Schweinefleisch kommt vom Metzger aus der Region, Rind aus Brasilien und nicht von den Billigfarmen aus Argentinien und auch nicht von den Hinterwäldern, die kaum noch bezahlbar sind. Mein Steak, rare medium bestellt, kam auf den Punkt so auf den Tisch wie ich es wollte, und die Pfefferrahmsosse wurde nach meinem Wunsch ergänzt. Pommes Frites klassisch französisch geschnitten (und nicht wie US-Countryfood lieblos zerstückelt) und aus frischem Öl geschöpft. Der Küchenchef nimmt Bestellungen bis 22:00 h an, das ist eher selten in dieser Region, dafür gab es den 4. Stern. Bei schönem Wetter kann auf dem Marktplatz unterhalb der prächtigen Kirche gegessen und getrunken werden. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist solide und stabil, sie hat schon 33 Jahre überstanden, und sollte selbst robuste Biker aushalten können. Service rasch und freundlich. Etwas internationales Dreilanddeutsch sollte noch gelernt werden. Ein Beispiel: Ein Radler ist in der Schweiz ein Panaché, im Saarland sagt man Panasch (von frz. panaché, „gemischt“)."

"Wir haben hier für eine Nacht geschlafen und hatten ein Zimmer im 2. OG mit Balkon. Die Lage ist ideal um Ausflüge in der Nähe zu unternehmen und sehr idyllisch und ruhig. Vom Balkon hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick, es lässt sich sehr toll entspannen. Wir haben abends auch im hoteleigenen Restaurant gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Leckeres Essen und man kann draußen sitzen auf der Terrasse. Das Wirtspaar ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Alles in einem waren wir sehr froh hier gebucht zu haben und können das Hotel weiter empfehlen. 5 von 5 Sterne"
