Clean room with modern bathroom, the arrival was relatively flexible in the evening. Unfortunately, breakfast for a hotel was rather sparse (bread, sausage/cheese plate, butter and a few spreads in the small one-time containers). There were no eggs or was not offered. Müsli did not exist either. Overall, therefore, a point drop for the service. Overall but a simple stay in clean rooms and a few excursion tips. Rooms: Double Room: Clean and modernized bathroom. The single room was slightly bright. Drinks: Breakfast a little sharp

"the waldhotel not scream is not on the homonymous Passstrasse/Paßhöhe, which connects Freiburg via the schauinsland to deadnau/wiesental. from the fun height, you can also drive to the ancestral to the church. also here buses turn off from the valley. after the big brand in 1995, the hotel was rebuilt by the owners and constantly upgraded and adapted to the requirements of the traveling and the guests to comfort and comfort. two dining rooms in black forest style, the jägerstube and the terrace restaurant offer enough seating to enjoy the international specialties and local dishes served there from the region black forest. the wild courts are shot from the local jagd and the trout from their own weiher. the hotel has its own indoor pool and for holiday comfort rooms and apartments are available. whether in summer or winter, there are always enough possibilities for activity possible, be it on the conical path, in the hall bath, during skiing in winter long run or alpin or hiking and nordik in summer. the hotel is also well suited for family-safe all types, businessmen or meet. for day trips the hotel is an excellent starting point for hiking Feldberg/Schauinsland etc. in summer you can enjoy the sun on a small terrace with coffee and cake. the hotel, which belongs to the association of Christian hotels, wants to pamper its guests and the service ministers of the house also that before."

"Children absolutely unwanted... Unfortunately, we can only report negatives about the Belchenhotel. Children, explicitly toddlers (our 2.5 years old are in this alleged 4-star hotel (as it came to four stars, another chapter is absolutely undesirable. Within 1.5 days we received 4 instructions: 1. the child must not go with the sneakers that are only carried in interior spaces on the chair, 2. not with a bungalow in his hands, otherwise Nutella could be one of the chairs, 3. do not take chocolate eggs from the Easter tree (for what are they hanging there? 4. Do not take pillows from the sofa to the cuddly on it and sleep... After the 4th order we decided to cancel the Easter holiday immediately after the 2nd night in such a child-unfriendly hotel (although we had booked 4 nights). The hammer came to look. It was practically the full price for the 4 nights (including 4 nights for the tourist tax, although we had only spent 2 nights there. A payment for invoice was obviously not possible. After I was threatened that it was bleededing to go now without immediately paying the whole bill (including the danger of the police), I paid more than involuntarily the total (including half full bottle of red wine that remained in the kitchen). Our family often moves in good to very good hotels, but we have never experienced such a bad treatment against us and indirectly to our daughter. The entire staff is instructed by the boss to make sure that toddlers do not make a false act and touch everything that could cause stains. Oh, yes, the boss Mrs. Dietsche is to be seen immediately: strict back hair, black mourning and never a smile on the face; Courtesy definitely looks different... To the hotel itself: outside the deluxe rooms, the rooms do not earn 4 stars, but max. 3: our bathroom (if the heating does not work in really large space (45 square meters barely larger than a broom). Whatever was not obvious, this room has different roof bevels in which you beat your head for the first time **** when you get up. The beds were laid and both had already in the 1. Night severe back pain. The breakfast buffet reminds of breakfast, but certainly not a 4-star house. The wine card contains only 'German quality wine', which seeks something better, is badly cancelled here: only 2 moderate Italian red wines censor the wine card. In the end we want to stay: the night meal is really delicious and excellent. Nevertheless, we can only advise you to visit this hotel with children; Children are most tolerated here, but absolutely not desired... But what the hotel forgets: Today's children would be the potential guests of tomorrow..."
