"Booked a last minute stay on saturday. The whole place is in need of a refurb and is dated and tatty. Room we had smelled very stale and unpleasant although had plenty of room. After check in we were told we cannot use the hotel bar as all the tables were booked for people coming in to watch the football (that was starting an hour later and the bar was empty at this point , that's despite us being residents. Whilst we accept that during the covid epidemic things need to be different I feel if this is hotel policy it needs pointing out at the time of booking or check in . We tried a couple of other local bars that were all too busy to have us and subsequently we returned to the hotel and asked for a refund because we couldn't get a drink anywhere nearby so moved on elsewhere. A manager was called and after a wait he came in and was unapologetic stating he needs to keep his regulars happy (above his hotel guests really? we had a difference of opinion there however in fairness he refunded us and we left."

"My experience yesterday exceeded all expectations, and that’s always the best kind of surprise. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. I stopped in thinking it looked like a great pub for some classic pub grub, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my meal. When I tried the first course, a soup, I was pleasantly surprised by its rich, smooth flavor and impeccable preparation. For my second course, I had the steak, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented with its sides. And then there was the dessert—a pebble dessert that was simply extraordinary. It might just be one of my new favorites. I’m so glad I discovered this little gem, and I highly recommend that you give it a try!"

"The first time I tried this place the food was great, but then on my second visit the food was bad. I've been a few times since and it's always been hit and miss like this, which is a shame. They're just very inconsistent. Sometimes you get things that are crisp and fresh tasting and the sauces have a nice consistency, but other times food can be soggy, stale/old tasting and either too gloopy or too watery. Because of that it's hard to recommend them, even though at times the food can be great. They also don't do delivery, which is a shame I think. There's a lack of takeaway delivery options in Llangefni, so you'd think they'd want to capitalize on that, COVID especially you'd think would have inspired lots of these places to do so, so that's one thing I would recommend for them."

"Ordered over the phone, when I arrived they had lost my order so had to wait for it to be cooked while 9 people came and got their orders, 2 of which were wrong ie had items missing etc. I should have headed this warning and checked mine as when I got home I had something missing. On phoning I was told I hadn't been charged for this but looking at the menu and adding it up I had been. I don't know what's going on here but this is my local takeaway and is usually fine, different staff tonight so that could be why. I'm going to try elsewhere from now on this really got me annoyed and didn't taste that great either!"

"Lovely shop go there often. Get all my crafting supplies there. Great craft demonstration there to. you can see in store dates) nice new look to store and Cafe. Love the food in cafe. Update Just came in today Mar 2022 after not been able for a while with covid restrictions, sad to see craft section not there anymore it was a great place to get craft supplies. Still a good but pricy garden centre. But wont need to visit so much now with no craft store inside."
