"The atmosphere was welcoming from the very beginning, and we were attended to promptly by knowledgeable and professional staff. The dishes were outstanding, rich with spices and cooked to perfection. The warmth and dedication of the staff made us feel comfortable and satisfied, showcasing genuine hospitality. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which arrived promptly and tasted remarkable. They also catered to our dietary needs and were accommodating to our children. We appreciated the personal touch and will definitely return. I highly recommend Tamarind to others!"

"My first visit , weekday lunch and it was busy . The bistro is not big but the food was delicious ! My prawn risotto was flavoursome , rich and the prawns were fresh and juicy . Fresh orange juice was refreshing . My friends chicken salad was also v tasty . Food portion was so generous that I had to take away the left over risotto and my hubby also enjoyed it too! Highly recommend and definitely can’t wait to go back ! Can’t find parking space outside the bistro but we parked in the m and s nearby also went in to do shopping ."

The mussels in tomato sauce and linguine marinara are particularly tasty, while the pizzas and garlic bread are authentic and satisfying. Having lived in Japan, London, Australia, and Canada and dined in numerous restaurants, I have never encountered a place as unique and generous as this one. The owner and all the staff truly appreciate their customers and provide exceptional hospitality and respect to each individual diner, whether they are regulars or first-timers. This level of care and dedication is rare and refreshing, making it a joy to support such a local business. It is clear that the customers' happiness is the top priority for this restaurant. Dining here feels like being invited to a warm and loving Italian family dinner. Everyone leaves full, happy, and grateful. I cannot wait to dine at this fantastic restaurant again and will proudly recommend it to my friends. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!"

"Was disappointed with fish dish. Tasted off and not very fresh (all 3 sea bass we had ordered). So we complained and Restaurant did take the price off bill, and we ordered something else. Maybe because this was a Sunday night? Otherwise other food was very good and great atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but it was quite busy ."

"Table was ready and we were seated promptly. Everything is clean and tidy as always and the service is slick and prompt. If you are on a hrs break you could be done if you wanted. All the food was good and we have the set menu which had a good selection of chicken, steak and prawns with a duck course as well. Always a pleasure to eat here"
