"I had a return visit to Big Ben West Side and this time it was to try the food as my last visit I only had a beverage.I was encouraged to give the place a try again as on Sunday as they are running a special were you can double the size of all food and beverages (excluding spirits) for the same price, which is what the flyer states. In reality, on my visit, they actually double your main entre (i.e...burger patty, fish piec-es) not appetizers and they give you the large for the price of the small for drink beverages.There is mostly rock music playing in the background, along with rotating Bundesliga games. They do have an enclosed rear patio seating area with umbrella protection.I had the Big Ben Burger (with double patty) with fries (or you can choose the salad) 21.50CHF, plus a couple of beverages. The burger was juicy (or was that a little greasy), and served with a lot of toppings and in general it all came together pretty well.The staff was a bit disoriented about their Sunday special, but we worked it out in the end.The burger was good not great, service okay, atmosphere okay. They offer free, secured Wi-Fi. The restrooms were clean, but the soap dispenser was empty. Lets just say, improvements can certainly be made on several aspects of the place, but the Sunday special makes it a better than normal deal."

Located in a busy area, near cinema theaters. The food is really fast food and low quality. I had some chicken wings almost burned and clearly not the kind of food you would expect from a pub!

Did not like it. Boring, greasy burger. You are asked how you want the meat and then you get it well done. Nachos are a small portion and soggy, guacamole doesn't seem homemade to me. Not again.

Went there with a bunch of friends. The burgers were really tasty. A bit pricy though but well.. go find a cheap place in zurich. They have some choice in beer but not the largest. Staff is friendly so thats good

Modern Irish pub with nice selection of local and international beers. Food is good and the pub has daily specials as a variation to the menu. Music is not too loud, but rock only. Friendly staff makes you feel welcome.

We were here at the beginning of a Viking cruise. A Sunday and not many places open. Scouted out Big Ben and some others for dinner. Hamburgers and beer, a little wine. Good burger, great fries and prices that were great for Zurich. Kim was our server and he was wonderful. . An excellent experience.

Really great pub. Perfect for some afterwork beers with friends and colleagues. Different sports are shown on various TVs on a regular basis. A good range of different beers are offered from tab and bottle. Also the Burgers are pretty awesome...just one word: LUMBERJACK! ;)I can definitely recommend this pub!

Well, the food was okay. Although the doneness of the meat wasn't right at all and the mixed salad was a joke. Service also left something to be desired, the amount of around 500 sFr was paid. Then even without a tip. There was vomit on the stairs to the toilet for a long time, even though we pointed it out to staff several times. Margarita was also a joke! Better go to Les Halle right next door.

Not only are they fresh made to order, but the care that goes into each one is obvious.They feature a "burger of the week" which has NEVER been repeated. Even the chef says the hardest part is coming up with the new names... I look forward to the new Burger every week.Aside from this surprise, there is a host of "regulars" which will not fail to disappoint anyone: from a chicken burger, veggie, Mexican, and my personal favorite standby: the Texas Ranger, dripping in BBQ sauce and jerkey. A good bar for drinks and watching mostly EPL fussball. During lunch the place fills up with local students and the business community. The after work crowd stops by for some stress release and a beverage to forget about the workday. There is a long bar with stool seating and padded seating of sofas and chairs at the front and rear of the place and a dj booth. There are additional seating tables at the back, but this area is pretty cramped in together. They have a wide selection of beers, wine, cocktail mixers and food served for lunch and dinner.
