Big John's Selly Oak

We enjoy visiting this restaurant, but sometimes it falls short. I think the chips could be cooked longer.

The food arrived an hour late and was cold. The portion sizes were small and the prices were high. I do not recommend this restaurant.

ordered fish and chips into the sick house qe, eating was cold, it had to be in the microshaft! fish tasted like maischekartoffeln, with a stab after taste! and the chips were like the rest of the night before! will not order again from here!...Pure shocking!

I ordered the southern fried chicken and chips. The chips were reasonable, though pretty bland, whilst the chicken was extremely dry. I also believe it was this meal that gave me digestive issues. I’m very disappointed and will never order from this organisation again.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant tonight. Despite living just minutes away from the shop, the food arrived cold. I ordered a donner kebab and a chicken kebab in naan bread because there was no mixed option on the delivery menu. The donner meat was paper-thin, transparent, crispy, and tasteless. The chips were rock hard and ice cold. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from here again.

I have been at bigjohn’s in selly oak for several years. her masala fish with salat is excellent, they take the effort to give me exactly the salat I like best. the fish perfectly cooked, spicy and very tasty. the chips are also excellent, the service is very friendly and helpful, regular customers are always recognized and welcomed with names. during the day the load is very busy, I was not in the evening, but the staff is always very busy and very happy.

I went into Big Johns Selly Oak last night and I was very dissapointed with the customer service. I only ordered a chicken fillet burger meal. I was charged I paid and waited and waited and waited. I told one of the staff it...was daylight when I came in and now it's pitch black outside. I don't think he could speak English. So I asked the guy who served me at the till. His reply was two minutes we are just waiting for chips minutes later I collected my order and when I got back in my car to eat the food the chips were undercooked.
