"It was raining in Reading last Saturday afternoon and i needed a place to wait whilst my husband had his Covid jab. I saw a sign outside Bills saying festive cocktail, £2.99. What? £2.99 for a cocktail, that can't be right!? I went in and found a lovely table by a fireplace. The cocktail soon came and it was amazing, beautifully decorated and tasted delicious. This tempted me to look at the food menu. It was approaching 5pm and they were changing menus. I text my husband and asked him to join me when he finished his jab, as we hadn't booked anywhere. SO glad we decided to stay and eat as the food was simply outstanding. We eat out ALOT and most of the time come away feeling dissatisfied or short-changed, but everything about Bills was perfect. We shared the mezze starter and my hubby had the festive burger which he said was the best he's ever had (he's a burger expert). We finished with the festive Xmas cheesecake served in a real plant pot! Everything about our experience was amazing, from the food, to the ambience and the service. So much so that I will be organising a festive group dinner there next year!"

Pretty, friendly restaurant with a beautiful old-fashioned bar. The delicious brunch I recommend the Shawarma brunch. Everything there was excellent. The pancakes were delicious too

Excellent service, the staff here were amazing. There was a great choice of meals and they could easily accommodate larger parties. There is also a lovely outdoor area, perfect for sunny days.

we had a wonderful breakfast at bill’s. kasia our waitress brought our gorgeous hot chocolate (including flakes). my son loved his full English with extras, as he doesn't like to bon or mushrooms. my eggs benedict was beautiful. bill’s is a quirky restaurant with an interesting decor and a great menu. the price is reasonable with service included in the bill, which is great as I never change.

this place was visited for the first time today for the birthday of my daughter. we had a great breakfast here. I've crossed this place so often, but I thought this was a pub and never realized that they saw one of the best early pieces in reading. the road parking is closed today and therefore we parked at oracle and went from there. otherwise there are many street parking spaces on the hozier street as well as on the main road. the staff is very friendly and the service is very fast. Eat is delicious! next time, I'll eat here at lunch and I see that they have an amazing bar so I have to taste beer too.
