Enjoyed a very generous and delicious Bistro Special Mixed Grill Platter. So much food we couldn't finish it. Very attentive service and all in a social distancing safe environment. Highly recommended..!

Very friendly staff and owner. Good value 2 and 3 course price menu that we chose to have on a Sunday afternoon. Well cooked food and fast service. My wife absolutely loved her apple tart tatin. We'll be going back in the near future!

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. We always receive a warm welcome and the food selection is excellent (although we always end up ordering the same dish!). The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, even when it's busy they always manage to find a table for us.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options as well as hearty meat dishes. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. The service is always reliable and the owner is a fantastic host. I highly recommend this restaurant.

a few days ago with my family passed a Sunday afternoon! the restaurant was quiet around midday, but at 2 o'clock heaving. we all enjoyed our meal, but felt that they might have had some more vegan options (all rice contains butter). good selection of beer available. 1st visit (but certainly not the last! 10 of us (inc 2 kids had a lovely evening here for a belated birthday. Genuinely warm, friendly welcome (by owner? Restaurant was clean, comfortable, warm and had a relaxed atmosphere. Kids menus were put in front of kids (nice not to have to ask for them bread olives were a nice touch and enjoyed before the food arrived. All of our meals were hot, perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. The meals were all of a good size, with lots of fresh crisp salad, the homemade chilli sauce was the best we’ve ever tasted, and went perfectly with the mixed grill. Located on Potters Bar High Street, parking availability may vary depending on when you arrive. Weekdays are usually fine for parking. The menu mainly features lamb prepared in various ways, as well as options for chicken and fish. The Special for two is a good choice, however, for a group of four, I recommend ordering the Special for two and selecting additional cheaper main dishes to share. The Special includes chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb chops, lamb ribs, and minced lamb sausage, along with a selection of Mezes, mixed salad, and rice.
