"We called in here today on the off chance that they had a free table for lunch. The lady that greeted us was lovely and found us a table straight away, bringing us menus and the special boards and took our drinks order while we chose. The inside is lively and clean and well presented. There was no feeling of being rushed at any point. My partner ordered a club sandwich and a coffee and I ordered a sweet chilli wrap and a Diet Coke. We didn’t have to wait long, while the food was cooked freshly for us. The portions were huge and so well presented. It was absolutely delicious, the chef came out and asked if everything was ok, it was more than ok! It was fantastic. The total bill came to just £18. We will definitely return here and highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality, great staff food. A gem of a place."

Such a disappointment. Friendly staff took my drink order asked me to wait awhile before she could take my breakfast order. Then some 10 mins later informed me there was no bacon

We used to always buy takeout bacon/sausage sandwiches now they've changed their menu and are trying to charge nearly £5 for x1 sandwich!!! Unfortunately won't be buying again from Black Horse.

We dined here for lunch earlier last month. The food was nice but it's pricey in my opinion. Cost the best part of £8 for what was basically a very small toastie and a glass of water. There a better places in town in terms of value for money. Visualizza piatti

Went in for some lunch. we both had soup and sandwich. the soup was delicious! they give you plenty too my husband got Lancashire cheese and chutney sandwich and I asked if I could have cheddar as don't like Lancashire cheese. this was no problem at all. Great place and lovely people running it. highly recommend!! we're will be back!!!

The Black Horse Emporium is my favourite place to stop for a coffee, snack or main meal. They cater for all tastes with a good menu mix and customers as well as pets (dogs) are made very welcome. The food is of the highest quality and the staff are friendly and conversational. I have been back on numerous occasions and never been disappointed.
