Bosphorus - Piatti

We had one of the best meals of our lives! The Kapadokya dish, an ancient Ottoman recipe, was paired perfectly with creamy garlic mushrooms. The staff were very attentive. Overall, it was an amazing evening!

The first time back in years due to covid, wow we had forgotten how amazing the food is, red lentil soup was fantastic, followed by Chicken Stew, and Chicken Shish, you will not be disappointed, great service too!

The staff is friendly and the flavors are great at this restaurant. The 2 course lunch is good value, with fresh falafel served with an excellent salad. The portion of beautifully cooked squid is generous, and the portion sizes are large. Overall, this was a great decision for a Saturday lunch. Visualizza piatti

In February 2023, my group of 6 adults visited Bosphorus to celebrate a birthday. Booking in advance was easy. As usual, the food was amazing - the warm and fresh bread to start always sets the tone. We ordered two Bosphorus feasts and they were truly fantastic. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Thank you, Dan, for always providing us with a fantastic meal.

Same as the previous reviewer, food is nice but not as good as it used to be but don’t order a takeaway because it doesn’t all show up and the portion sizes are tiny. This is the 3rd time we have ordered a takeaway and a quarter of the food is missing so as usual, having to wait another 30 minutes on top the hour we have already waited. Last time im ordering from here now

Ordered chicken princess which had more salt than the dead sea!! Lamp shish...terrible lamb..not nearly as good as the ibos restaurant., very bland .i went to the toilet and while my wife was eating my plate was taken away!!when i asked where my plate was i was apologised to and offered some rice and salad!..not very good..had a better taste of the Mediterranean in china!!..never to return here.. Takeaway that arrived was terrible. I ordered a hallumi salad for £9.50, it was three pieces of small cheese on top of a few wet salad leaves. The £17 chicken grill dish had two pieces of chicken. The mixed grill was ok. About 10 chips a portion. We paid £60 for this. I called to discuss and they were really really rude, would not give me a refund. I love supporting local businesses but this one is off my list!

I live not too far from Hitchin and this was probably my fifth time dining in Bosphorous. I took my father and his wife who were visiting me from Bradford. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough; a hidden gem in North Hertfordshire. The atmosphere is lovely; nice decor with beautiful traditional touches with the lighting, spacious, clean, relaxed, Service is really good; staff friendly and the girl who served me this time also served myself and a friend in February and did not finish her shift until we were ready to leave that time. Food is superb; huge choice, nice complimentary flat bread, dips and olives to start and Turkish Delights to finish meal. Portions are HUGE; no 'Nuveau Cuisin...

Truly the most awful customer experience I have ever experienced order arrived 50 minutes late, was told driver was outside but took him 15 minutes to find the house. I called 4 times to see what was going on only to be told it was minutes away. Finally arrived and order was cold as expected. Tried to microwave airfryer food but was horrendous by then. Called for a refund only to be told I must be lying, apparently it’s impossible for the food to go cold in the containers it arrived in and I was being unfair asking for a refund. In addition, I was told the delivery guy had a crash on the way home from my delivery and apparently that was my fault too because I shouldn’t have been ordering fro... Visualizza piatti
