Best food. Best atmosphere. Best Italian I've had (and we were in Italy 2 days ago! Excellent jazz and blues music at just the right volume. Very nice staff. Busy but not over crowded would recommend to all.

En route to the Louvre from the Notre-Dame we found Jess Cafe. They are a good option to experience your local Paris café-vibe. They have a wide range of light lunches and local beers available and I can highly recommend that you try their Croque-monsieur....The staff were friendly and the food was good.

We stopped at this restaurant on the Rue de Rivoli. They offered a wide range of light lunches and beers, wines and soft drinks. There were tables both inside and out but we opted for outside so we could people watch. This was the first...time either of us had attempted to eat Escargot with our daughter passing on the chance. Our impressions? Mushrooms in way too much garlic! perhaps to mask the real taste!. A wonderful little cafe with excellent service. We had 3 baguettes, chips, escargot, 2 sodas, a glass of wine and an espresso for 50.10 Euros £35.78).

The last time we were in Paris two years ago, we went in by chance in this cafeteria, we just got out of the louvre and we were wept in the jars, we were tired of walking in the morning and pretending to keep doing it all afternoon until we left there, so we couldn't escape much from the area because after eating we would have to go back to the loop. For 3 long hours, the first half hour passed fast as we fixed in the decoration an Arab-style wooden window and several copper vessels, along with a wooden furniture with a flower center....Secas, if they had been fresh we would have eaten them, je.Je, especially when the noise of our empty guts was superior to that of the atmosphere of soft mus...
