"We had to get away from the nasty restaurant at our hotel, so we went into the village of Chantilly. The weather was not so good, so we cancelled a planned walk around the city to get a look at the restaurant choices and chose this place that is on a square where the taxi dropped us. It turned out to be a great choice. It is a modern take on a brasserie, with clean and modern lines inside. There is a small bar and a limited seating inside. There is a large outside dining area but it was closed due to the poor weather. We were lucky and got a table.None of the staff spoke much English but they encouraged my poor French In a way that you don't find much around Paris anymore. Thanks for letting me practice! The wine list is short but with several good choices at a nice price point. We had fois gras to start which was cooked to perfection and served with a lovely fruit chutney. We chose a lamb shoulder wrapped in zucchini with a pesto sauce that arrived looking like art on a plate and tasted heavenly. There were several light choices for dessert. We took the chocolate flourless cake that was perfect. The staff graciously arranged for a taxi and provided a glass of Armagnac when we found we would have to wait 20 minutes. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening."

Never got the chance to eat here but talking to people when we stopped for a night cap apparently its very good, has music and seems a lively place with friendly locals, nice decor. Will try if go back

The Brasserie has a new owner and chef. The food is definitely more than from a brasserie menu. We were enjoyably surprised by the quality of the meals. The service is friendly and efficient. Anything but a brasserie. Bodes well for the future of this location. Visualizza piatti

Called in at 5pm for an apperitif. No price list offered. Should have asked. Ordered 2 small glasses of rose wine. Cost when went to pay €16. Queried the cost and was fobbed off with comments about 'le patron'. Offered an email address so I could complin presumably. The girl behind the bar seemed apologetic but that's as far as it went.Quite outrageous pricing. The waiter should have shown us the price list.

Second time we've been here, and it was just as good as the first time!They had justed changed the (monthly) menu and everything was home made.My boyfriend had the côte de veau and I choose the lamb. Both dishes were delicious and the Minuty wine was very good.Deserts were amazing too (chocolate sphere and fresh strawberry macaron); wish I could try the entire menu. So we will definately be back a third time.Big thank you to the chef and his team!

Its always nice when the service is smiling to you all the time and you feel that they mean it.... They were super effective the whole time, very quick and friendly.But lets go to the main reason of a restaurant, the food. It was just superb. Starters were quality (foie gras) and then as main we had three diff kinds of meat, all of them with such a great presentation, modern but enough quantity to fill ourselves, went for the lamb and the beef, both with some kind of sauce made of cheese and some pure. Both superb, honestly.Had no dessert because we wanted to visit the castle of Chantilly so didnt want to be exploding.Totally recommend it. My fiest 5stars in a few months. Visualizza piatti

I would very rarely give 5 stars but the food was so delicious and interesting it deserves it.The environment is modern brasserie but the food is beyond usual brasserie. When I saw the photos I was worried it was a bit over the top and the taste and executiion would not live up to the creativity of presentation. Pleasing to be wrong as the food was very well cooked , and the favours superb. It was quite rich but the portions were sensible . The only thing I would have liked in addition was some green vegetables to accompany the main course.
