Lovely French décor! Wow! Quite a language barrier as there was not much English spoken by staff. Our delightful young server worked hard to please. She was very lovely. We ended up just ordering the special. Food was well prepared. Enjoyed dessert and coffee the...most. An apple cake with chocolate! Excellent! Nice first French food experience.

This is a lovely restaurant in a good location. I visited on one occasion last year, and catching waiters attention after 10 minutes sitting at table, we ordered two glasses of wine. We left twenty minutes later..........the waiter had not returned with the wine, having...passed our table several times. Today I visited again at 12 midday, only wanting to have coffee. The restaurant was almost empty and we wanted to sit outside in the sun, however we were told to sit at the side if not eating lunch. This was said in a very offhand manner. I will never return to Chantilly.......
