a pub, as you can see in the old town of düsseldorf, near the train station and in a quiet street, from 19 clock it is very full. they like to eat and chat.

for many, many years we regularly visit the brewery shoemaker on the east road. here it is not so full that the beer and the eating are great and the service is always nice and for having a spicy.Trotz restricted operation we also felt very comfortable this year again!

Sono stata in questo ristorante che mi era stato super consigliato. Purtroppo l'accoglienza e il servizio si sono rilevati pessimi. Sconsiglierei questo posto a dei turisti, è un posto locale e non hanno nemmeno il menù in inglese.. tanto meno lo parlano.. nel complesso la location non è male.

Tipica cucina della Renania e birra squisita. Tutto buono dallo stinco alla zuppa di patate.Sono stato più volte e ancora ritornerò. Wonderful, authentic German brewery restaurant. I went for an early Saturday dinner to avoid the crowds. Lots of young people at the outside front tables, but there were plenty of open tables inside. An older festival group occupied the nice outside patio in back. Start with your first of many Alt beers. They will keep bringing them, and mark your coaster. The pork schnitzel topped with egg and with potatoes was amazing. The waiter spoke English, provided an English menu, and was patient and clear explaining the Schnitzel special page that was only in German. Waiters were attentive and proactive in bringing the next beer. So lucky to have been staying near this place!

Di primo impatto il locale sembrava una classica birreria tedesca, molto rustica. Le esperienze negative cominciarono gin da subito dal momento che non c'era un menù in inglese ma solo in tedesco. Per ordinare dunque abbiamo deciso di lasciarci consigliare dal cameriere che ci ha proposto un misto carne per 11 persone, quali eravamo. I bicchieri di birra erano piccoli ma appena se ne finiva uno il cameriere in modo celere portava il successivo, anche se non era stato chiesto. I taglieri di carne erano molto scarsi e non sono riusciti a lenire i nostri appetiti, anche il contorno di insalata ci ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca poiché era condito con salse sgradevoli. Surreal impolite staff. I seldom leave any reviews, but today I must write down mine for the first time. We, 5 women, checked if there was an empty table. The first staff was unfriendly. The second staff (an older man with glasses) dare to ask us whether anyone is a masseuse because of his backpain. We all were so “perplexed” and frozen for 2mins, not knowing how to respond to such strange saying. ALL.FIVE.OF.US. We could label this question in many forms of utterance sensitively used these days. However, I think this sort of “clumsy joke” is from a lack of courtesy.
