"is located behind the Rathaus on the river banks in front of the bridge! there are tables outside, on the balcony and on the covered terrace. the view from its window is not bad.The menu is tyupish german! there is an excellent haxe and sausage. matthias tobish junghering is generally excellent as the North Sea is close. there are salads and a large selection of appetizers and snacks! they can taste the traditional lapskaus! the pork is very good. there are also dishes for vegans. the dessert is standard for such local, strudel, red hat (“red hat”) is a sweet dish served with milk, butter cream or vanilla sauce, of course it is typical not only for the hamburg cuisine, but for all hamburg northern Germany and even for Denmark and the Baltic countries all red berry: celestial, cherry and red. about the beer we can say that it is very tasty, I have tried all 5 bright and dark large selection of weeping and spirituosen service is cozy, norden! tables can not be reserved, but sometimes is a full house, once you don't have to!Because the pub is not far from our accommodation, we were often recommended in this brewery!"

good and solid German food. good variety on the menu, so there are both those who are for the heavier end of German esskultur, as well as for those who do not.Central location, with the possibility to sit outside on the many channels of a city.

great restaurant, real German kitchen. beautiful ambiente, tasty eating, great service. the prices are in order. the only negative point is the lack of certain dishes, especially when they visit the restaurant in the evening, which limits their choice in view of the short relatiw menu.

this small but fine brewhouse in the heart of hamburg is so inconspicuous that you can almost overlook it. the inside area is larger than expected from the outside, but the number of external seating places is quite small! the foods were typical brewhouse, but less adapted to the hamburg kitchen. who likes dark beer or weizen, find here more his taste than someone who prefers a light beer! The brewhouse Joh Albrecht does not know God an artificial restaurant that serves small portions and haute cusine. Rather, there are real portions of home cooking at absolutely manageable prices. As you expect from a brewhouse, it is comfortably decorated in wood colors. Food and ambience are harmonious. If you don't want to spend 100 euros on two, I can recommend the brewhouse Joh Albrecht at the very best

we discovered this traditional brewery last year and when we were back in hamburg we couldn't help but visit them again. In fact, we knew that it would not disappoint us, and so was it.The craft beer they made is also excellent (make a beautiful photo of the copper barrels and the fresko on the wall that shows the fermentation and production process of beer.) but also excellent the kitchen. the menu is not very clear, but there is a section dedicated to traditional dressing, obviously from a brewery, with whistle of various types of sour wort and smoked meat. it offers many other suggestions, from exotic Thai suppe to pizza, which are also good for an Italian. all the courts have not disappo...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
