"we discovered this traditional brewery last year and when we were back in hamburg we couldn't help but visit them again. In fact, we knew that it would not disappoint us, and so was it.The craft beer they made is also excellent (make a beautiful photo of the copper barrels and the fresko on the wall that shows the fermentation and production process of beer.) but also excellent the kitchen. the menu is not very clear, but there is a section dedicated to traditional dressing, obviously from a brewery, with whistle of various types of sour wort and smoked meat. it offers many other suggestions, from exotic Thai suppe to pizza, which are also good for an Italian. all the courts have not disappointed us. it is not a coincidence that the place is always full and if they can, better call and book first. especially if they are many. so taste and tradition in a brewery with distinctive style. if they are looking for an intimate and quiet place, this is nothing for them... but they know that the breweries are like that!"

the food was super tasty and the self-made beer has tasted good to everyone. We'll be happy to come back.

Beautiful ambience, delicious food and good beers. We've been coming back to the brewhouse for years. The lunch card is also very recommended.

Ambience and service well. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Brauhausschnitzel. The crust is rock hard and makes the meat dry. Luckily there is a nice range of beer

is happy to enjoy my New England with you... Atmosphere and staff always top. Unfortunately I found the menu too clearly not enough choice. But we usually don't get to eat... Visualizza piatti

The staff was friendly, there was the possibility to order children's food and our food was very delicious. The portions were reasonable and the price was good. We only had a short waiting time.

have stopped here for lunch. large selection of beers, among them white beer and a very refreshing radler. schnitzel is quite excellent and the service is very friendly in the restaurant. if they can (and if there is a sunny day!) get a table on the outside balcony with views of the canal ...!

Great place in the middle of Hamburg. The ambience is simply great, rustic and cozy. The staff is friendly and fast. The self-baked beer is very suffocated and looks in Hamburg. The food is delicious and very prepared. Even if it could be a little more. Price performance is ok for Hamburg relations. Visualizza piatti

Always a visit worth. Eating tastes excellent although the selection is somewhat limited. Beer, brass and New England in my case absolutely top. The staff is friendly and keeps quiet even at peak times, and this is rare! Only manco: the rooms in the rear area are insufficiently ventilated for my taste and somewhat sticky. But it was.

The brewhouse Joh. Albrecht is located directly on Alsterfleet ,Adolphsbrücke 7 without a six-minute walk from Hamburger Rathausplatz in the west direction. On Tuesday at 19:00 we entered the restaurant where the waiter asked us about a reservation. Since it was very well visited tonight, he was still looking for a way to accommodate us and we were lucky that a table was free. We didn't have to wait long for welfare. The service was very good, so we had a nice evening.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
