"I love going to this wonderful beer bar whenever we visit this wonderful city. It's a bar that serves great traditional German meal's and we have been very lucky to have some cracking meal's in here but on our latest visit we only went for beer's.As much as i enjoy Kolsch beer i some time's crave a well crafted beer and at BRAUSTELLE you can get some wonder beer's.The microbrewery is superb ,a lovely interior that's very cosy with nice furnishing's and great beer ephamera plastered all over the bar.We ordered their own brewed light beer's and these were really refreshing ,iced cold ,a beer with real character. We just chilled out with our beer's and soaked up the great atmosphere in this pub.The place is certainly popular and on our visit was rammed,we had such a great time here we stayed for a couple of more beer's each before moving on .Very easy to locate this microbrewery/restaurant jump the Ubahn down to EHRENFELD LEYENDECK and walk down VENLOERSTRAßE and cut onto CHRISTIANSTRAßE were you will find this great place.Opening hour's are;Monday to Sunday,6pm till 1am.Delicious beer's and well worth a visit."

I had a great time here, the beer was great and the staff is awesome. Teo is a great guy and knows a lot about beer. He even invited me to play football with his friends! Make sure you take the guided tour with Niklas.

Only place in Cologne that I know of that brews their own Imperial Stout and Alt. Both are great for their style. While I did not eat there this time, I will next time as the food appeared great and the patrons seemed happy with it.

Situated out of the centre this bar offers good food and good kolsch. You can also get alt, ipa, stout and cherry beer brewed on site. Slightly limited choice this time but still a nice bar with a good atmosphere. Cheese plate was good value

A little gem hidden out of the centre. Filled with locals the bar has a buzz. The food looked and smelled amazing, we had the bread meat and cheese plate which was great value. The kolsch, alt, weizen and cherry beer are all brewed by themselves . The kolsch and weizen were really good. Friendly staff and good beer what more do you need?! Visualizza piatti

I was lucky enough to be taken here by a local, a friend of my fiance. We met with this friend's girlfriend's family who had come from Hamburg to visit Koln and enjoy the local cuisine at this fine restaurant. Their own Helios beer was very tasty, as was the frickadeller and the bread. It's also in a cool neighborhood popular with young people and students. Enjoy!

This place has a very nice feeling, a typical german Gasthaus with tasty dishes and superb beer. The interior is just perfect, you don't have the 'too much' impression while the mood is created. Traditional German meals, common and special type of beers, even home brewed ones. Also special spirits are offered. I can recommend the place to families and friends the most.

This atmospheric place is Cologne's smallest brewery by day and it's best pub at night. You can sit right next to the brewing coppers in the middle of relaxed locals and try a couple of special selected beers. Here they serve not only traditional Kölsch but also craft beer and fancy creations like pinkish, herbal or fruity beer. Nethertheless the most important criterial here is the exquisite taste. We loved to share some beers to try as many as possible. Visualizza piatti

We sought out Braustelle on the back of a New York Times recommendation, and the first-hand discovery that what most of central Cologne has to offer is variations on Kölsch - the local brew, an ale (apparently) with every appearance of a weak pilsner lager. Braustelle brews on site, and offers everything from standard wheat beer, through specialty fruit beers, to dark chestnut ales, hoppy amber ales, and stout. You will not get bored before you get insensible. The bar has a great atmosphere, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the menu is a carb heavy treat, including fried egg and chips. I could have happily spent a couple of days in there.

My wife and I have been living in Cologne for some time and have frequented most of the famous Kölsch breweries. While it is a great time to go on a pub crawl in the Old Town to try all of the different brands of Kölsch, the food in all of them is forgettable. If you want GREAT beer and food get away from the crowds and come and eat and drink with the locals. This microbrewery serves a wide variety of beer that is always changing. They do brew an unfiltered Kölsch and like also one of the only places in the city that you'll find the rival Alt beer traditional from Düsseldorf. The special brews change with the season. The food is here is some of the best traditional German food in the city. No...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
