"I had booked a table for lunch after being attracted to the Festive Set Menu at this pub, which I had checked online beforehand. However, once we were seated, we discovered that the Set Menu was not available. After inquiring at the bar, I was informed that it was not being offered in December. I ended up ordering nachos instead, which tasted like they were from jars and were very disappointing. My friend enjoyed his turkey pie, but mentioned that the parsnip was tough. Additionally, customer parking was difficult, leading me to park at the nearby Peace Memorial Hall car park. Overall, it was an average experience and I do not plan on returning."

Beautiful space with amazing personalities behind the bar, despite it being my first visit I was really made to feel like a regular with great knowledge of the drinks available I was able to get pint in hand in now time. Worth dropping by 100

Absolutely excellent afternoon tea with great attention paid to allergies. Beautifully presented and obviously freshly made. Great to have wraps as well as sandwiches. Very friendly, happy staff (thank you, Jay) and really good value for money.

Held a wake there today for approx 40 people Previously had a 90th birthday there for the deceased Great service. Food very good too taken lots home in doggie boxes Thanks for your hospitality Highly recommend Used to have the odd drink there as a boy 40+ years ago Jj

We had a great evening on Saturday night at the pub, which was very busy due to a birthday party. Despite the crowd, we received excellent service from Sally, Finn, Sian, and Karen. Our drinks arrived quickly, the food was delicious, and the staff worked hard to ensure everyone was served. This pub is truly the best in the village!
