The food was amazing. We had roast beef. Absolutely delicious. We had to order in a rush but our fault as it was nearly closing kitchen time. One of the best meals out there for a Sunday.

for the first time in Great Britain, 1. authentic British pub and it was not disappointed! had a real lunchtime meal of the roasted fasan with amazing jafiture croquettes as starter. beautiful atmosphere and great service. only one of the many reasons why I fell in love with Winchester.

my experience in the nr. 5 bridge road began with a glass white French wine (they have a decent collection of weeping,) the definitiw was a good start. the seating were very comfortable and cozy with a pleasant, dusky ambiente and a central open area. destined felt pretty home. eating was not as amazing as I expected. I tested the Bream filler, which was quite fresh and delicate, I wish the part was a little bigger. also tried the grilled sardines that were also good, but were slightly overdue.
