Britannia Spice - Menu

Been here often and never fails to impress. Very empty at lunch time, but no waiting and great service as a result. Food lovely, it always is. Would highly recommend this place.

The food is excellent. I have been there several times whilst working in the area and have always arrived soon after opening so it is usually quiet. Service is good and prices are reasonable.

Fabulous curry at Britannia spice Flavors so nice, with numerous plant based options Aubergine best ever taste as was my wife s Samba. Service so efficient and with a smile in lovely surroundings. Thank you to the establishment.

We just came across this place as it was near our accommodation and would recommend it to everyone! Very good service (heard was very attentive and helpful) and the food was so delicious! Nice decor. Let's get back to Leith next time!!

Britannia Spice has many awards for its food, and well deserved too. Service is good with attentive staff keen to make your visit enjoyable. The decor is in keeping with its name, almost within sight of the Royal Yacht Britannia, all which makes this a pleasant visit.

Waited 15minutes to get a drink ordered, from the time we arrived 1hour to get a starter only after complaining, waited another50minutes to be served our main , once again complained to our server about time waited only to be told they have been busy ,quality of the food was very good only to be let down by service

Went out with friends on a Tuesday night, the whole experience was excellent we had been before but our friends hadn't. We had the Indian option our friends the Thai option. They were extremely impressed, we stayed on for a while and never felt any pressure to move. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and very friendly. Great night.

Walked in and most of the staff were sat at a table. No friendly welcome. The restaurant felt cold and the decor looked tired. Service was poor, didn't get our 2nd drink order, so had to ask again. Didn't get the food order right, had to point it out to them, with this you could understand if they were busy, but when there was only 10% full, so there was no excuse. All that said, the food was good, but probably better as a takeaway.

We had lunch at this restaurant over a year ago, and while the menu was limited, we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, we were not as satisfied. The menu was still limited and did not offer many choices. The starters and mains we ordered were terrible, tasting as if they had been sitting around for a few days. Even the rice was not prepared well. Additionally, the service was appalling, with our starters taking 45 minutes to arrive. During our wait, we witnessed a couple behind us refusing to eat or pay for their food, describing it as disgusting.
