"According to my feeling, the Brocker Mühle is a “Landgasthaus” in front of the gates of Gütersloh in Herzebrock Clarholz. With 14 tables and about 70 seats it is not too big and radiates a cosiness and tranquility. On a Saturday evening at the end of the month you should book a table better – it was quite quiet, we would have got such a table. The menu is appealing and something for everyone. There was nothing to complain about soups as an appetizer and the main dishes. The selection for dessert is clear and limited to the ice card. Prices in the lower to middle range. Sülze with good roast potatoes is possible for €9.90. There are also children's dishes for the small guests. We felt the service as friendly and facing. There is a large parking lot and a beer garden, cyclists like to stop there. On Wednesdays in the late afternoon a big biker meeting takes place regularly."

In short, It was absolutely full in the restaurant and you noticed the effort of the staff, yet the professional service created a pleasant atmosphere. The food is not fine or elevated, but quite honest and always rich bourgeois cuisine. Schnitzel are the classic in the house, the steak with pepper cream sauce was simply huge and really nice medium roasted: recommendation!
