This cafe is lovely, with very friendly staff and a great selection of homemade cakes. The ones we tried were all delicious, as was the panini my son had. The staff were accommodating and went above and beyond. Although we are not local, we would definitely come back next time we visit Chester.

My friend and I took our 2 year olds here for our first visit today and the waiter could not have been more helpful and friendly. He was really accommodating with the kids in general and their food orders, and the food was all delicious! Would highly recommend anyone to visit Brown Sugar when they're next in Chester!

My husband and I met up for coffee in town and I suggested Brown Sugar since I had been there before. The owners were friendly, warm, and welcoming. The cafe was clean and cozy. I had the best egg mayonnaise sandwich and my husband really enjoyed the homemade soup. The tea and cappuccino were piping hot and delicious. This will likely become our new favorite spot! My wife and I visited twice today we loved it so much. The food coffee were excellent and reasonably priced. The owners were brilliant so helpful. The atmosphere was so nice away from the hustle bustle of the City Centre Eateries. Located just across the river very close to the City. So peaceful. Love it. Brilliant for cyclists. Will definitely visit again when we are next in Cheshire. Highly Recommended

Been here quite a few times now. Owners are superb and the food is excellent. Various sandwiches, paninis, breakfasts and a selection of homemade cakes to die for. The Victoria sponge is the best I’ve ever had!!! The seeded brown bread for sandwiches is cut thick and full of whatever filling you choose. The white bread again cut thick just melts in your mouth. Too many I’ve had to recommend as all are good.

A friend and I had lunch here today with our 2.5 year olds. It is such a great cafe, we had a really friendly welcome and it was especially nice that our children were chatted to and helped into their seats making them feel grown up. Although there was no specific children's menu we were told that small portions could be provided and at my daughter's request she had lovely chunky fishfingers, beans and even crisps provided on the side when she asked as well as a lovely froth milk in a special bottle with a straw. The adults had panini's. The food was excellent and it was a lovely relaxing experience which is not often you can say that when eating out with toddlers! Visualizza piatti
