The vegan menu at this restaurant is thoughtfully put together with locally sourced ingredients, resulting in incredibly well-presented dishes. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

we had great dinner in this beautiful restaurant! super tasty eating and cocktails are the best I ever had! definitely would try everything from the menu! friendly and attentive staff, simple but cozy design, very pleasant place!

Good, but not great. Had an evening meal in there, steak was good, nice presentation. Also had Sunday lunch in there which was very good. Bit pricey to be fair, but they claim they serve local produce, so there’s the compromise. One of the better eateries in Newcastle if you want to go a bit upmarket.

it was impressed that brunels had a separate vegan menu with some options, but unfortunately the portions are very small, especially compared to non- vegan option. server are knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 4 listed vegan desserts were available, which was quite disappointing. try again and hopefully get more food!

I had very happy to travel the world and eat in so many excellent restaurants. brunel’s would be proud to stand alongside each of them in nyc, sydney or london, but it sits in a sand swing from the royal county down golf club and the slieve donard hotel. I was so impressed in the first night I had to go back a second night to try other dishes to see if they could be so good somewhere. they have met or even exceeded! every bite every teller was literally world class. I'm back!

My experience at this restaurant on a Monday lunchtime was for a special occasion. The vegan menu was unusual and interesting. We started with the beetroot starter, which was delicious and very light. The fermented barley starter had a peculiar taste, but it was a more substantial and warm option. For my main, I had the stuffed leek, which was artistic, tasty, and very light. The pudding was not as described but was still very tasty - sorbet on crunchy crumbs. Monday afternoon. exceptional and interesting vegan menu. we tried the Beetroot star. delicious, very light. fermented gerstenstarter, peculiar taste, but I had no fermented grains before (a substantial starter and warm). I had stuffed the front. artistic. delicious. very light. pudding was described as pfirsich, bleeding and advertising red. it wasn't from them. it was sorbet on crispy crumbs. very tasty. we have divided a division of veg. have been recommended and we were recommended that it was more from a tasting menu.
