"Disappointing. We've eaten at Bumpkin (Westfield Stratford) previously. It's one of the few places there at which there is a pleasant atmosphere, a comfortable environment, and where the background noise is low enough to allow conversation at normal speech level. The food is unexceptional, but usually good. We were not in any hurry, but on this occasion the service was very slow and, if I thought it likely to be as poor as it was, I would be disinclined to return. I also thought that the cost of our meal was high in relation to the quality."

I had a burger. No idea why they asked me how I wanted it cooked because I specified medium and it was overdone and dry. The chips looked like yesterday’s warmed up. Quite unimpressive.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. As someone who is gluten free, I found the waitress and manager to be exceptionally helpful in assisting me with selecting options from the menu.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. However, we were disappointed when we were told that the kitchen was closing mid-meal and we had to order desserts immediately if we wanted anything else. Besides that, everything else was good. Visualizza piatti

Quite busy but staff were attentive. Friends delayed but we weren't rushed. Eaten there a few times before. Good solid British food. However on this occasion the chicken was a bit dry and over cooked as were the fries. Friends' pies were fine. Lovely elder-flower jelly dessert.

No body checked how our food was and I had to go inside twice to find a waitress for service. Food was fantastic but we even had to go inside to pay as we waited to long for someone to take our money. Not impressed a service charge was included as I wouldn’t have otherwise left a tip !
