"We stumbled across this restaurant after attempting to get a table at ASK Italian, our usual haunt, only to discover they were taking bookings only. What a brilliant find. No fuss, just great, friendly service and really, really good food. The front window looked like it had been vandalised and awaiting repair, which could easily put people off (town louts! but it shouldn't. We will come back here next time we are in York. Can't recommend the delicious food and great service more highly. Could probably do with a little makeover inside but that didn't matter at all."

The dining experience at this restaurant is exceptional and I highly recommend it to everyone. The drinks are delicious and the flavors are rich and full-bodied.

I had a fantastic 4-course meal at this restaurant. I highly recommend dining here as each dish was perfectly cooked. The price point is a bit on the higher side but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. I only deducted one star because I felt rushed by the staff, which was a disappointment considering everything else was absolutely perfect.

Caesar's Italian is highly recommended. We had a lovely meal with family last week. The food was amazing! One person in our group misread the menu, but the staff were very accommodating in providing alternatives. Additionally, my partner accidentally dropped my newly bought engagement ring at the entrance and the staff kindly informed us. Excellent food and service, we will definitely return!

I was at caesars tonight. the staff was happy and friendly when they walk through the door. eating was something special. the portions were generous, the aromen were fantastic and the restaurant felt like a part of italy. my own and my friend were seen by almost all employees throughout the service and each of them was great and made them feel like home. would definitely recommend. many thanks for making our trip to york very special. also thanks for the Sicilian limoncello. beautiful touch.

We popped in on the off chance having been let down by another restaurant's appalling online booking system. Summers evening, race night and already very busy, Saturday 6 15pm and we got a table for 6 immediately. Amazing food, even more amazing service and just a wonderful all round experience. Staff very attentive. We love this place having been several times before and will definitely become regulars for our family meal nights out. Please note. The burger is incredible as are the garlic mushrooms.
