"What an absolute gem of a place. We’ve been to this area a few times, but must have driven past the cafe (it’s just before you get into Drumnadrochit centre). Never again! The food was exceptional, such a unique variety of well thought through flavours. We had the halloumi toastie (with chilli jam and pickled ginger) and a smashed avocado on toast which came with raita and peach compote. Seriously good home made bread too. Big shout out to the owner and the other staff who we blethered away to for ages as they were great fun. Can’t believe we have missed this place all these years, we will definitely be back again to make up for it. Highly recommend."

"Loch Ness inn was clean friendly. We just in to have a pint. After a bike ride. Rooms: I don’t know about the rooms didn’t stay but I can image there would be clean comfortable. Walkability: We were in a campsite which meant they were only half a mile away which is walkable from us. Food drinks: The last time we were here the food was nice. This time we only had drinks came in twice each time they were friendly. Rooms: 5"

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is excellent. My family of four had a great experience with the new menu, offering plenty of options to choose from. The drinks and cocktails were delicious. We enjoyed the pork croquettes, tomato soup, and salt cod fritters for appetizers. The portions were generous and everything was very tasty. The cod fritters were a bit salty, but that was to be expected. For our main courses, we had chicken, duck leg, seafood linguine, and mac and cheese. The food was all delicious, especially the flavorful linguine and the mussels. The service was top-notch and the portion sizes were satisfying. While a bit on the expensive side, the quality of the food made it worth the cost. The panna cotta was also delicious. We indulged in desserts as well, with the huge sticky toffee pudding being a standout. Even though four people could easily share it, we ended up ordering three desserts because we were in a relaxed mood and feeling like indulging a bit. We were visiting and staying in the village and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others in the area."

"I have a gluten free allergy and that being said most of my reviews are centered around my allergy unless I have someone else with me who can attest to the gluten based foods.That being said the selection is nice, but small. I had the option of soup and about 4-5 pastries and all the ice cream I could eat.First off, if you don 't eat anything else you must get the ice cream and the indulgent hot chocolate. Sublime and wonderful. The pound cake with a tinge of lemon was nice moist and fluffy. Very pleasant to eat. The brownie was a little dry, but good after dumping it in the decadent hot chocolate.The hot chocolate was £3.50 the pastries combined was £5.00 and the ice cream was £2.25I came to about £11. I give this ...because the food wasn 't bad in pricing for all that I got. This would have been almost double in price in America.My companion for non gluten free items recommended the salmon cream cheese bagel. She said it was good moist and pleasant to the palate. Not overpowering or too salty or flavorless.This get a 4 out of 5 because of the dryness of brownie and the few options for gluten free allergies. I could not eat real food only desserts outside of soup. Tsk tsk I guess I had to eat cake instead of food.But nevertheless, the staff was wonderful and the overall vibe was good. "Do not go here! I don 't have the energy to describe all but let me remain factual. One out off six staff members was friendly. Walls are paper thin. We had lots of spiders and a snail(! In our bedroom. Everything is severely outdated (30-50 years old it feels like . Water temperatures are steaming hot and freezing cold. WiFi only in small common area. In the restaurant we had to wait 2 hours between ordering and actually getting the food. There were 3 old waiters, 1 nearly blind, 1 over 90 (and as expected acting like it and 1 couldn 't speak any west European language. It was tasty but not much for the cost. Breakfast was also meager, some toasts, oatmeal and 60% of what I would 've called a full continental breakfast . Again would not recommend the rooms, restaurant or any part of the hotel. Rooms: Not clean, really old furniture, bad functioning bathroom. Food drinks: Expensive, not much and (based on our experience of waiting 2 hours between ordering and eating very poor service. Drinks are also expensive. Noteworthy details: Building and staff are old and need a proper update. WiFi is non existent Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3"
