"Given Papenburg's location, in the middle of a farm / grazing country (but they do build BIG ships there) you wonder where the fish boats dock. They do serve a nice selection of regional fish dishes (and some for the landlubber) in cozy nautical setting. Potatoes play a big part, coming in several styles (boiled,pan fried, etc.) and often served family style.Accompanying vegetables are Eureopean style. Did not make it to the desserts. Service is efficient but not overbearing, more in the family style. Enjoy!"

"Das Gasthaus erinnert einen an die 70er Jahre innen, was aber durchaus positiv gemeint ist. Die Uhr draußen die anzeigt wann die Küche wieder Zeit für Essen hat kannte ich so auch noch nicht. Alles ist frisch gekocht, die Schnitzel waren zart, der Spargel 1a, die Tomatensuppe lecker, und auch der Pudding mit Grütze top. Wer auf oldschool Küche steht, ist hier richtig. Handwerklich einwandfrei, man muss nur was Zeit mitbringen. Aber die vertreibt man sich mit leckerem Brinkhoffs und hört den Einheimischen zu sofern man den Dialekt versteht. Chefin und Kollegen sind sehr nett, alles in allem sehr stimmiges Lokal."

"On the last holiday evening we visited the Gasthaus Kuhr. It is good that the HP is where you can park because the parking is not identical to the address. So we only landed at the hotel reception and followed the arrow that showed us the way to the restaurant. That was in the pedestrian zone. We were allowed to decide whether we wanted to sit outside on the terrace in the pedestrian zone, or rather inside. We decided to walk in because it was a bit windy. The young man who received us and also the two girls who served us were very nice and accommodating. There's nix to mecker. The guest room itself has already arrived in the years, but this is not so important to us and is not included in the review. We first ordered a Köstritzer cellar beer at 3.00 Euro,0,3 L. Now for dinner. To the appetizer, my husband took the seafood soup to 5.00 euros. He didn't find her so good. He was too much dill. He could not recognize or even taste other seafood than crabs, even in it. At least the soup was hot. I chose the menu of the month to €25.90. The starter was asparagus cream soup, which was quite tasteless, although asparagus pieces were in it. My husband took the Scholle Finkenwerder to 18.80 euros. So it was really good. He'd like to suck each other. Perfectly fried and tastefully perfect. The supplement salad, it also tasted very good. Cycle discs are not so common on salad. He liked it. They were too easy for him. Had no whip. They were last 08/15. My husband likes to eat roast potatoes for his life and if the taste is not so good, it's bad. In my menu, the main fodder consisted of chicken breast fillet, asparagus, Hollandaise and croquettes. Rockets at Spargel. But I owe myself. Did not care that the operation still asked if it is on the map or if something should be changed. So could have taken salt potatoes. Well, the chicken breast was very dry, but fortunately there was a neat piece of herbal butter on it. It was very good. Swear made me home because there was a taste I didn't have at the bought herbal butter. She also looked different in color. So the butter was good. He was part of it. There were 3 bars that could be cut very badly. It was quite fibrous. Shouldn't be like that. The Hollandaise in turn was very good. No Tetra Pack. I don't have to say anything about the croquettes. Croquettes. What irritated me that Ketchup and Mayotütchen were next. When a dessert belonged to my menu, my husband also took one. He chose the hot apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cream at 3.90 euros. It tasted very good again. I myself had Panna Cotta Dessert with strawberry sauce and strawberries. Good. At the end we drank an espresso at 2.00 euros. He was really warm. The espresso machine should be decalcified again. We were glad not to have taken twice. However, instead of a dry cookie, there was a mocha bean that I would like to eat. Conclusion: The food was so lala. It was very well prepared. My dessert is finished in cooling and the strudel was probably only briefly heated in the micro. Fresh, I guess I just fried the board. Everything else was, I think, just warmed briefly. We stayed in about 45 50 minutes with main food and pay back from the restaurant. The food came like on the conveyor. No, that wasn't ours, even though we were served really nicely. Since the plague and also the herbal butter were really very good, I don't want to judge the food too badly. So just wait."

"So erstmal zur Reservierung wir wollten am Samstag abend dort Essen gehen also hab ich einen Tisch reserviert für Samstag und extra nach gefragt ob mit Hund okay ist Antwort war ja kein Problem. Also sind wir Samstag abend dort hin da wurde uns dann gesagt im innen Bereich nicht mit Hund obwohl vorher gesagt wurde kein Problem. Also draußen sitzen was nicht gemütlich war weil kalt .Dann haben wir Getränke und Vorspeise bestellt gegrillte Peperoni die kamen auch recht schnell Problem war nur der Preis von über 10Euro und das wir 4 Strunken von den Peperoni auf dem Teller hatten sollte eigentlich nicht passieren wir haben die Bedingung darauf angesprochen Antwort war sie gibt es weiter sonst kam nichts weder ein Preis nachlas noch ein Ouzo leider.das Hauptgericht war in Ordnung da gab es nichts auszusetzen. Also Fazit ist Preise sind teilweise viel zu hoch Reservierung nur ohne Hund und die Vorspeisen sollten besser kontrolliert werden auf Fehler. Wir überlegen uns nochmal vorbei zu kommen"

"Sehr leckeres Essen, die Bedienung spricht aber so gut wie kein Deutsch und deshalb hatten wir leider ein falsches Getränk und ein falsches Essen. Konnte geklärt werden, aber danach waren die Kellner auch nicht mehr wirklich freundlich.Zum ersten Mal hatte ich beim Gyrosteller keine Pommes sondern nur eine Kugel Reis dabei. (Hätte man damit gerechnet, hätte man es allerdings auf der Karte auch lesen können).Als "Vorspeise-Lokal" zu empfehlen.PS: Das Foto zeigt die Hauptspeise Salatsteller (Hauptgericht)"
