Cafe Josefina - Piatti

I have been here a couple of times and have liked it very much. It's a small vegetarian vegan cafe with a nice atmosphere inside and a few outdoor tables....

A lovely cafe! Indoor and outdoor seating. The woman working when I went was extremely helpful and kind, as I am an American that speaks nearly zero German....

Small, cosy, vegan-friendly cafe. I enjoyed the vegan omelette (although it was more like scrambled eggs). It would have been good if it was served with some salad and a little more bread, but tasted quite good. Unfortunately my partner did not enjoy the soup...of the day, which he found rather bland. Very friendly staff. Would give it a second try.

the caffe is small and cozy, the personal was somewhat confused, but friendly. there are a few vegan options. we decided to have a coffee with milk and the omelette that was broken. it tasted good, but overall it was just too pricy. I don't understand why the milk is 50 cents. that is something I do not expect from a caffe with so many vegan options. updated by previous review on 2021-10-07

I stopped by this cafe before flying home and asked the waiter for a recommendation of something that was popular there. The vegan crunch I got was more than what I had expected and the fresh fruit/veg. juice was so refreshing! The service was superb...and locals probably don't want me to write about this cafe because it almost seems like it should be a well kept secret but I hope you get a table too! In October we ate at Josefina's cafe twice- on our first day in Europe and on our last day. The wine was excellent and the food tasted great- just what we wanted to both introduce us to europe and tastes to take with us...as we said good-by. Our meals were pasta dishes with just the right amount of spice and a taste that we would remember. the bread was excellent, and the owner/chef just delightful. She made us feel welcome to her cafe and introduced us to some of her friends that were also eating there. We recommend Josefina's whole-heartedly.

Cafe Josephina is a charming neighborhood cafe near St. Joseph's Church. It's not a vegan cafe but they offer several clearly marked vegan breakfasts, drinks and cakes. We spent a lovely Sunday morning here people-watching on the terrace and enjoying the relaxed, friendly service. My friends and I decided on Josefina's after reading a short article recommending it to those of us forced to keep a gluten-free diet. We arrived there and had to wait for an outside table to free up that would accommodate the three of us...and our dog, Hugo. Not an issue. The real issue came when the rather surly owner came to get take our order.
