"War mit meinen Liebsten in der Braui. Der Gasthof ist bodenständig/ rustikal eingerichtet - genau passend für ein solches Lokal. Die Karte ist recht gross gehalten - da findet jeder was ! Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir sassen im hinteren Teil vom Restaurant wo man sich schon einwenig eingepfercht fühlt. Die Lichtverhältnisse sind nicht grad rosig- aber man ist ja in einer Braui und da muss das so sein! Thema Bierkarte: Hammer im Inhalt und in der edlen Fassung- schon nur deswegen eigentlich ein Besuch wert! Thema Küche : Einfach ,währschaft und die Preisleistung ist fair! Wir kommen bei Gelegenheit sicher wieder."

"The Forst restaurant in Thunstetten has been in existence for over a hundred years and offers a culinary journey that appeals to all the senses. Relaxing means feeling good, as well as enjoying in a special ambience. Whether at a family party, business meeting, tête à tête or in transit, the stay in the forest is wonderful! When reading the visitors ' comments, you can see that the staff here are very polite. That is also true, because the Forst offers its guests a fabulous service. This place also has a Michelin selection. Switzerland 's restaurant guests have chosen the Forst restaurant in Thunstetten as one of the best restaurants in Switzerland! Experts also believe that ultimate comfort is guaranteed here. The owners Susanne Koch Andreas Koch, as well as the brother Peter Koch, ensure enjoyment and the physical well being of the guest. This time I had a wonderful lunch with my mother. We were spoiled with lots of little details from the aperitif to the dessert. The restaurant is wonderfully idyllic, far from traffic noise, in a beautiful, rural setting. The Forst is furnished with love and there are also antiques to admire. The garden area is located under an ancient chestnut and walnut tree and invites you to linger. On a warm summer afternoon or evening, it is a highlight to be able to enjoy the dishes in this special setting on the terrace.We would like to thank the whole team for the very fine and creative food, the relaxing and cosy ambience and for the very friendly service in the beautiful surroundings we would love to come back!"

"The food was good! The outdoor area is particularly beautiful and cozy. Unfortunately, the interior cannot match this beauty. The waitress, a gentleman with bright, conspicuous suspenders, was unfortunately very unfriendly. It is also particularly questionable that a rosé that can normally be purchased for CHF 15 was sold here for four times as much. That seems almost outrageous. One of the 4 people's starter arrived 10 minutes late (with no apology). At CHF 41, five pieces of perch fillets (neither local nor organic) are simply too much. Especially considering that there were flowers of life, Buddha statues, etc. everywhere, I would have liked a larger selection of local food (the labeling was largely non-existent) and organic products."

"Um vom ‘Pizzi’ zu berichten,werd’ ich hier am besten dichten.Vom lokal bis zum Gericht ist hier alles ein Gedicht:Mittendrin in Langenthalgibt es da so ein Lokal.Jeder der schon eingekehrt,sagt danach, „Es war sich’s wert!“.Kaum bist du dort eingetreten,wirst von Rita Du gebetenDeinen Platz dir auszusuchen.Besser wär’s vorauszubuchen!Wer schon mal im ‘Pizzi’ war,weiss, dort ist es wunderbar!Rita ist die gute Seele,Die stets schaut, ob ja nichts fehle.Rechne deine Zeit nicht knapp,Wasser, Nüssli gibt’s vorab,dann nach einer kurzen Zeitmacht Rita die Drinks bereit.Kinder sind hier gut versorgt,schnell ein iPad ausgeborgtoder auch noch andere Sachen,die auch ‘Alten’ Freude machen.Nun kann die Bestellung starten,nur gibt’s keine Speisekarten!Eine Tafel informiert,was täglich wird offeriert.Rita zeigt auch Muster-Teller,so vergeht die Zeit noch schnellerWer gern eine Vorspeis’ hat:Antipasti, Blattsalat…Gerne wird man Dich beratenes gibt Suppe mit Tomaten.auch Burrata frisch und weichRita sagt: ‘ich komme gleich’!Frische Pasta fein mit Sauce,(nicht fixfertig aus der Dose)Cordon Bleu, Poulet-Salat,Spätzli, wer’s gern deftig hat.Pizza gibt’s in gross und klein:knusprig, dünn und megafein.Der Belag nach Lust und Laune,auch Nutella hat’s, man staune!Ist der Wunsch nach vegi da?Rita sagt entzückt: ‘HURRA!’Da sie selber Fleisch nicht isst(nur dass ihr das auch noch wisst).Es ist soooo gemütlich hier!Rita ruft: ‘Bin gleich bei Dir!’Desserts kann man live betrachten(die vom ‘A la Carte’ gemachten).In der Küche steht der Masi,dieser ist im ‘Pizzi’ quasiKoch plus auch noch Pizzaiolo.Meist schafft er das alles solo.Wein ist hier von Dieter Meier:Flasche, Einer oder Zweier?Schenk Dir nach Belieben ein!Ungeniert, so soll es sein.Hattest Du ein Offenbier?Das ist manchmal gratis hier!Die 3 Würfel schüttelst Du,15 Punkte braucht’s dazu.So vergeht die Zeit im Flug,Essen, Trinken, bis genug.Slow-Food-Qualität 1A!Bin bestimmt bald wieder da."
