"I have visited this place several times, usually when I have a friend to stay. We arrived early for lunch, knowing how busy it gets, and selected from the Formule Midi. Both of us had butternut soup absolutely delicious although the portion was a little...small, unusually and for the main I had beef moussaka and my friend had a vegetable tagine. Both were absolutely superb I think actually it is the best moussaka I ever had . The staff as usual were really friendly and once again I absolutely loved my visit. There really is nowhere better to have lunch in Sète than this absolute gem of a place."

I was just walking past, not even looking for somewhere to eat but the carte du jour looked so nice I went inside, and what a good decision. Delicious. I wish I'd tried the gelato as well, they had some pretty unique flavours.

We are lucky in having an excellent coffee shop where we live. Lulu's matches it. Excellent coffee and a range of teas. We were made very welcome and happily went back on our second day in Sete to be greeted like we were regulars!

that was our best lunch in sete. charming interieur, beautiful staff and extraordinary eating unusual for france, a good selection of divine non-meat hearty tartes really delicious aromas and they came with an excellent mixed salad with hazelnut oil dressing and nuts...and seeds. they roast their own coffee and the coffee was very good. they try to use local organic products wherever possible. I have to say they're a cut up.

Lovely cafe off the market square. We arrived quite late, nearly 2pm, but there was no problem getting served. We went for the entrée tarte menu, which started with a refreshing cold soup but it was the tarte which blew us away. A delicious...tomato, aubergine and mozzarella tarte, which came with an intriguing salad and a piquant vinaigrette. Perfect. With coffee for two people a real bargain at 26€. We will definitely be going back.

The cafe is decorated in a retro style and reminded me of cafes you find in Brighton. The menu changes daily offering a starter and main for 12€. The food is freshly prepared and mostly organic. I had an amazing quinoa aubergine starter then...a Buddha bowl although be careful as it contained tuna so if you're veggie .. double check! They have a vast range of tea and coffees and a homemade infused lemonade to die for. It's very popular so worth booking to guarantee a table.

"La Marine Restaurant exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. We had come to Sète earlier than our reservation time thinking we would walk around the town, but we stopped by the restaurant to see where it was located, saw our name on our table (outside, our dog was with us . We identified ourselves to the staff and they immediately asked if we preferred to sit then or wait. We sat down for an amazing meal. For an amuse-bouche, there was a fresh and delicious tapenade served in shot glasses with toasted baguette slices. The staff promptly brought water for our dog. We then enjoyed Bouzigues oysters (a fresh batch which we saw the chef/part owner Magali cart into the restaurant straight from the Halles location! and Couteaux or razor clams in garlic, olive oil and parsley. Both were a revelation. I had a delicious rosé Nino, served by pouring it via a funnel into the bottle corresponding to the volume I ordered and put on ice. My wife enjoyed the Dos de cabillaud (cod and I loved my loup de mer entier. Both served with delicious vegetables and potatoes. We didn’t have dessert but we’re offered a shot of a sweet Muscat wine and little chocolate lava cakes as a sweet send off. All for $95 US. We can’t wait to return. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. Don’t miss this wonderful restaurant! They also give cooking classes at their sister restaurant Halles et Manger in Sète Halles."
