"Restaurant was almost empty when we arrived but we were squeezed into a window table. Service is friendly but slow particularly as there were only tables. The food is good, simple. It was a bit odd that they did not have smoked salmon but did not tell us, they served thinly sliced ordinary salmon.When we looked to leave we were kindly offered a free drink as there was going to be comedy on but that seemed odd as there was no one else in the restaurant.I would not hurry back"

We made a reservation and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Because it was a late reservation, everything else was either booked or closing and our only choice was McDonalds.

We went for a meal at cafe mode on Saturday with my family! I can’t recommend this place enough! Food was amazing and staff were attentive and really friendly! Will come back when I am in London

I chose the restaurant because of its menu and price range. The menu handed to us was not what was on the website. We were told it had just changed. Choices was reduced and for me it was disappointing

We arrived at the restaurant on time and it was closed. I guess this was due to the pandemic however the website states that they are open with social distancing measures in place and my booking was confirmed. Not happy

I booked a table on Tuesday and the booking went successful for time slot that was well within the time limit as per googleyour site. When I reached there the restaurant was shut! I expected at least an intimation or it shouldn't have even appeared in my search of restaurant. I don't know what is more disappointing the restaurant or the open table

I booked this restaurant after I read the reviews. It lived up my expectations. A welcoming, cosy and comfortable small restaurant serving wonderful food by friendly and caring staff. The only slight disappointment was the cheesecake which two of us had ordered. We spoke to the waiter and they were removed from our bill and we were offered a free drink to compensate. Will definitely return. The bolognaise was fantastic!
