Cafe Nord - Menu

If you like alternative bars, the Nord is the right place for you. Their vegan options are delicious!

Vegan burgers, pasta and sandwiches and a monthly changing card with specials, but only on tuesdays. Sunday is pizza flatrate.

on Tuesday they have an extra vegetarian menu. we were there on Sunday and also had many vegan choices. eating was good, the witness friendly and the ambiente great for rockabilly people.

the vegan burgers taste super and great is that they are even cheaper than the meat alternatives. in general extremely reasonable prices! only recommended. would be nice to have a milk alternative.

Metal bar in Essen with tons of vegan options, pool tables and a large nice outside area (in the summer). Many vegan options on the regular menu and on some days there is another special card: Tuesday: special menu (fully vegan) with changing dishes every month Wednesday: Burger menu with one vegan options Sunday: Pizza all you can eat (vegan with vegan cheese) I eat there nearly every week in the summer and it's always great!

This pub has been there for quite a while. One of the few places in the city centre with a decent choice of metal and rock music and a laid-back atmosphere. The owners changed a few years ago, the Nord is now run by a few ladies and the food has improved considerably since. The staff is also very nice mostly. As was said in previous comments, there is always a choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes which are clearly marked in the menu.

the special vegan Tuesday card changes every month and has always a land motto. not only does it offer very good food, but also many flavors and combinations that they offer not so much everywhere else. beyond these days there is also a very good offer of vegan food in the north, which are marked on the map clearly not a pure “no blue meal”. the correct “robuste” environment and design are certainly not every thing. updated from the previous review on 2022-06-28

If you're like me and like at least one of the following things, Cafe Nord is the right place for you to spend an evening: vegan food (e.g. burgers, fries, chili sin carne, or weekly specials), beer, heavy metal, playing pool. The place itself and some of the surrounding clubs are basically the epicenter of the metal scene in the Ruhr area, so if all that sounds like fun to you, you'll feel very welcome here.
