"wow, what a fantastic place! small family business with excellent quality and perfection looks and feels like a cozy home away from home. I had the chance to talk to the owner and he is great! of what I have heard he even organizes grills in summer, now this is something I will not miss! Eat tastes absolutely fantastic! if they don't know what they just get, they leave the staff the choice, they won't regret it can be a tad expensive, but how the saying goes they get what they pay!"

I will not pretend I am an expert for Portuguese cuisine infact before I found cafe porto, I had no idea of it at all, but what I found was one.

cafe porto is a comfortable, welcoming Portuguese restaurant opposite this strange pyramidal dig on the rodney street. I know because I was sitting next door.

An excellent and rustic restaurant which is truly a hidden gem. Pedro and his team treat you to a authentic Portuguese cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

I am glad that I have stopped here for lunch, because it is not often that they come across Portuguese cuisine in liverpool, as far as I am aware that there is only one other.

we had a great lunch, bring back our childhood memories that we missed our Portuguese cuisine. children love their meal, great thumbs of them. good host and beautiful environment. we will be back and recommend.

amazing actually Portuguese restaurant, which is so difficult to find nowadays! delicious food and amazing hostess. could no longer recommend this location. such good value for money, if they want authentic Portuguese, then they have to come here!

a little bit of space, like being in someone's house. very pleasant helpful staff. eat tapas style or served as main meals. I had chicken/chorizo kebab and cold meat plated with olive a brot. very tasty. has vinho verde wein £20 bottle. followed by orange chocolate crepe, delicious. would they have visited again and recommended!

wonderful restaurant I am an alpt room to eat as I like cooking, the menu is small the place itself intimate, it is simply perfect, I think some reviews say it is like being at home in someones. they are in the round, it is wonderful. eating is perfect, the quality compared to the amount. only a really nice place to eat was going again several times. also the outside space is a little hidden gem in the city center.
