We have dined here for lunch and dinner. The staff are extremely helpful particularly with gluten free requirements. There are a variety of good well presented bistro style dishes and the menu changed.

If you don't expect too much of the food juatbecause it is adjoined to a hotel with a reputation, then you will be okay. They have a large buffet at lunchtime, but I found this more or less disappointing on my last visit. Visualizza piatti

Ludwigs is on the terrace part of the Hotel Krone (there is an upstairs part as well but we never tried it). An English menu was provided and the wait staff were helpful and provided good recommendations particularly about local wines.

on the 2nd januar it was very difficult to find a restaurant, it was the unique choice we had. eating was nothing excited about what I mean, the taste is bad. this restaurant belongs to the hotel krone, which has been renovated. at least the personal was polite.

Centrally located modern restaurant with excellent food - quite a variety so it will fit everyone from vegans to meat lovers. Service is friendly but on the slow side but it is worth the wait. This is a nice Café, centrally located in Tübingen (close to Neckar bridge). The breakfast is quite good and so are the cakes they serve in the afternoon. There is also a set Lunch Menu and a small but good selection of dishes for dinner. In summer one can side outside, either on the (pretty busy) street or on a pleasant and more quiet terrace on the backside.

Nice looking cafe. Friendly service.We had the burger, the business lunch set and the buffet. Burger looked ok, the buffet was limited in choice and the business lunch set was not too appealing. Appetizer was deep fried but it came cold, dry and hard. The main course was a white fish set a bed of white carbo. (White on white). Was expecting more from this hotel cafe.

I visited an old friend in Tuebingen on a Monday, when many restaurants are closed. Ludwig's is not, and conveniently located adjacent to the river and a part of the long standing Hotel Krone. This was a solid choice for a no hassle lunch. There's a decent lunch buffet that is reasonably priced, by plate size, as well as a decent lunch menu. There's also a white tablecloth restaurant in the hotel should you wish a more extravagant meal. The cafe itself is bright and light and the decibel level was quite reasonable, so easy to chat.
