"A very traditional Cafe Rouge. Spacious and very friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately being Mother's Day, they were overrun as the meal went on, delays took place. I could hear lots of complaints from neighbouring tables but the waiter was literally run off his feet. He was suitably apologetic. The french onion soup was a treat but the medium rare steak was definitely over-cooked which was disappointing. Child-friendly a place you can waste a few hours happily I would go again"

can not beat strada pasta and pizza. .delicious starter of antipasti between two. highgate Italian food still produces good Italian cuisine.

my daughter and I love her pizza, especially pizza Mondays (all pizza is £5). this strada is very close to the upper end of the waterlow park and so a good destination after a walk in the park.

the first time in strada. eating was great, especially the Margherita pizza. but I was particularly impressed by the service this day. we came from zone 1 to celebrate the birthday of a friend and the people were very friendly. come back in the summer!

The ambiance is beautiful, very relaxed, and beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. a TERRIBLE experience for Mother's Day. it took an hour to get drinks, about the same to get the most important courses that arrived in dribs and drabs. was the Mother's Day and we had three mothers in our group so disappointing. vague and not attentive service that was strange when the restaurant was almost empty, also they were all gone. we hated it.

The food and service at the restaurant were satisfactory, but the only issue was with the gin and tonic that was ordered. When I tasted it, it seemed to be mixed with soda water instead of tonic water. I asked the waiter about it and was informed that it was their own "tonikum" recipe. If this was the case, they should consider using standard tonic water instead to ensure customers receive what they expect.
