My crevettes and steak wereserved hot but my husband's soup and bourgignon were not.

Leisurely meal, no rush to get out at the end of the evening. Good service, friendly staff,

Fabulous and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Demi Poulet a bit dry but all other meals were good.

Had a great evening at Cafe Rouge! Friends and I all had a lovely meal, great food and great service! I will visiting again.

Unfortunately, the food was not as tasty as I wanted it to be. My starter of pate was delicious as were the other guest's starters but all four main courses were disappointing . Good attentive service from a young helpful waitress. May not be our choice of restaurant next time.

Booked through open table,unfortunately upon arrival there was no booking. However the staff said there was no problem,this was the the third time that night it had happened. The food was good,service was excellent particularly provided by Claudia,she was really attentive and caring. Kevin C

Visited while on holiday in region. Warm welcome and excellent service from a team of waitresses. Every waitress was very attentive and the food was amazing. We had authentic French dishes which were all excellent. Thanks to all the staff for a very nice meal Ina friendly and relaxing ambience.

We booked a table for 6-30pm on Saturday evening and we were late by about ten minutes for which we apologised. We did not like the table they showed us to and asked to be seated somewhere else, which they did. My husband and I both ordered the lamb shank off the specials menu. There was not much meat on the shank and it was a bit tough. The mash was nice and the red cabbage which was served with it was also nice but the lamb seemed a bit drowned in it. Not good value for money and the second time we have not been pleased with the food.

Staff were not very welcoming. Food wasn’t served until an hour after our booking time (we were a party of 12 and the only people in the restaurant for the first 45 mins, and only ordering breakfast) Three of the party ordered poached eggs and all of them we over cooked and completely hard. I assume this was because they tried to send all the food out together, but we would have appreciated the food better cooked and not served at the same time. Also the servings of sauce with some of the meals was very meagre. We didn’t bother sending the food back as we had waited so long and the occasion was a three year olds birthday and they were getting very restless. Not the usual standard of service...
