We sometimes stop here for lunch when we’re out cycling as the food is really nice, staff are friendly, lovely environment and it’s great value for money. The best cafe in Kirkentilloch! : I love a banjo (bacon and egg rolls and these guys make the best! Delicious. The food is outstanding. The banter and service is next level. A lovely family business. I had a fantastic full breakfast for under £8, which was an incredible value. The service was excellent; they even asked me what color toast I wanted! They offer great, authentic vegan options as well. The seating was comfortable, and I really liked the rectangular plate they used. The beans served in a small bowl were a nice touch. My only criticism is that the music was a bit too loud and a touch melancholic. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast, and the lunch menu looked impressive as well.

This restaurant offers an excellent variety of vegan and vegetarian options. I was especially impressed with the veggie and vegan breakfast choices. Unlike many places where meat dishes are simply replaced with tomatoes and mushrooms, here the meat items have direct vegan and vegetarian substitutes, so you can enjoy bacon, black pudding, haggis, or sausage in a delicious plant-based form. The staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. I also appreciate the seasonal additions to the menu. One thing to note is that the prices on the website are higher than what you actually pay (for instance, the Groupon deal lists breakfast at around £12, but it’s closer to £8).
