Nice decorations and music, well located but a little bit packed for parking. Good place to visit with friends. Food was ok, good taste.

Amazing array of authentic dishes, limited but solid Spanish wines by the glass available, including a good Fino. Wonderful ambience. Great host/patron.

the casa mendoza is an absolute enrichment in the neighbourhood and has earned at least 4.5 stars. fine tapas, great with lemon peel flavored fresh brot, tasty rioja and an authentic atmosphere, all clean, friendly and fast, heart what you desire more. we'll be coming more often!

Beautiful spanish restaurant, food is very delicious with a lot of garlic. They have a good choice of tapas, there is something for everyone. Everything is quite authentic, wine and drinks are also good quality. The service is great, the waiter gave good ideas what we should eat and drink. The atmosphere is very cosy, however, the toilets could be in a better condition.

Excellent and very authentic Spanish restaurant. The owner is very friendly. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. We ordered about 3-4 tapas per person, which seemed like a good portion if you plan on having dessert afterwards. I definitely recommend trying the dessert. They have authentic paella one a month, which we didn't try but it sounds great. Good selection of wines and drinks. Possible to pay with card.

.... as a Spanish tapas-local it might not win the first place, but for nürnberg absolutely a recommendation. it is very well visited and since the location is not a hotspot, it probably meets the taste of people. the card is limited to the essential. no firlefance, good gastronomic selection; from wein to brandy, from the gambas al ajillo to the cream catalan. the service is friendly and attentive. the prices are moderate. a good concept.

I cannot understand the very bad reviews. Overall we have tried out through nine different tapas, all very delicious, fresh, hot and different flavors (as in Spain!.) the creme de catalana with the very good caffe solo was a successful conclusion. the size of the tapas was also appropriate. only the plate with serrano and Manchego was a bit economical. the choice of weeping could be a little bigger. above all, here is the price jump from the house wine with about 4 € to the rioja with 8 € very large. the atmosphere is very pleasant and the furnishings succeeded. nothing is worse than a tapas bar where you have more feeling in a Mexican bar landing.The local was filled to the last place and y...
