The review is for the pub, I haven't stayed overnight. Lovely pub, gorgeous food, wonderful garden. Really lovely staff and overall a wonderful experience. They need a better selection of scotch, but other than that, top notch. We shall definitely be returning

Beers a little pricey but it’s a nice village pub! Stayed here few times now and rooms could do with a lick of paint and a dust! Lots of cobwebs! I understand it’s rural so you get little bugs ect! Other than that lovely place to stay! Comfy beds and nice staff! Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 4

We stayed last week in the Cherry Room, the room was very comfortable with lots of natural light. The mattress was perfect, gave us a really good couple nights sleep. It's not inside the pub so very quiet and detached from the main property. Finally the breakfast was outstanding adding lots of value to the stay, choose the full english! I took my daughter and partner for Sunday lunch. My daughter had never been there before. From the moment of our arrival the staff were fantastic. The food. I had a mixed roast. My guests half portions, which in hind sight so should I, was the best in any restaurant I’ve experienced. We could not have had a better experience. Well worth the trip. You must book as the number of people who all appear to have enjoyed their experience talk of returning. The staff were great. Full marks to all there. Jerry Copping

This is a lovely, family-run pub with a terrific breakfast. We stayed in Cherry which was very comfy with separate access from the pub, tea-making things, piping hot water. We had a very nice chat with Dan over the Full English and smoked salmon with scrambled egg. Ditto with a one of couple of non-residents who came in for breakfast too. Stoke Row has a fascinating history with its ornate well and cherry orchard given by an Indian maharaja and the surrounding beech woods are fabulous, specially at this time of year.
