"We had our first visit to Chester’s yesterday! We loved it! Beautiful shop with lovely items for the home or gifts for loved ones, and amazing food! We tried a curried chickpea and sweet potato pastie....Absolutely delicious We stumbled across the shop whilst out on a walk, we’ll definitely be back!"

Awesome tea and cake as always in a beautiful setting! The aubergine biryani salad we got to take away was also super yummy and would thoroughly recommend it!

Whenever we come to the lake district, I always make sure we have at least one trip here, I don't care how far I have to drive. The food is spectacular. We had the four salad sharer, fantastic fresh beautiful food.

Been visiting Chesters by the River for many years and is always a must when we are down in the Lakes. Just had coffee and a scone which were delious!! They were a good size and with the jam and cream, the best we have had!!

chesters is a wonderful vegetarian caffe directly at a very picturesque flow. the variety on the menu is great and the food tastes excellent. very friendly staff and good service. would definitely recommend this beautiful little caffe. also very doggy friendly, whatever is a bonus.
